The traditional hunting with hounds is banned but you can still flush a fox out and shoot them. I used to support a ban until i educated myself and realised the "League Against Cruel Sports "are using misleading propaganda for example the pictures of hounds tearing a fox apart its not stated that the fox was already dead. The ban has more to do with class prejudice then welfare and a misguided one as many of the rural" working class"earn a living from hunting its also a reflection of the out of touch urban electorate where many people the only contact they have with wildlife is the frozen chicken from the supermarket. And of course those who suffer from Fluffy Bunny Syndrome and have watched Bambi to many times and view nature through tinted glasses . Many peoples livelihoods where put on the line because of this ignorant Government soon they are kicked out the better.

Fox hunting hasn't been banned, only the use of dogs.
