I enjoy both. Both need a certain type of skill to accomplish the job. Either one will make you a sportsman and a defender of nature. If it wasn't for hunters there wouldn't be wild game anymore.

Rifle Hunting takes just a much skill as Bow hunting. Both are good ways to hunt though, it really depends on what type of territorie you are hunting in. Open areas like fields and pastures, it would be best to use a rifle cuse its hard to get the deer to come to you. But if your in wooded areas with lots of brush you could you bow or rifle they both work well in the case, the hardest thing about it is getting the deer to come to you. So no matter what both are good choices of weaponry and the animal taste just as good no matter how its killed!!! Have a nice Day!!!

It depends on your preference and what you like to do.

Some only like bow-hunting, others only rifle, others like both!

Bow hunting in some respects is more challenging and difficult but requires more practice to make humane kills. Rifle takes alot of skill too and it is important to get as close as you can to minimize the risk of inhumane misses or gut shooting your quarry.

You have to find out what you like best, we can't answer it for you, it is your own preference. But, generally people start off with rifle hunting and progress to bow, when they want more hunt in their life and for a few rifle becomes easy so they go to bow, then bow becomes easy, so somewhere in there they will use muzzle loader/flintlock or percussion traditional rifles. They in the words of outdoor life will not rejoice in your awesome shot and regard it as what you have to do, but they will gut your animal for you. They are real hunters in different use of the word. It was something like that anyways. It may be true, I don't know I don't think I am one of those, but I do both (bow and rifle), but always love shooting and love guns, and love hunting, but bow hunting is great and I find it relaxing too. Just have a passion in my heart for shooting rifles and handguns.

I like both but i personally enjoy bowhunting alot more because you get a chance to sit and observe deer activities, where-as rifle hunting when you see a buck you can put cross hairs on him and pull the trigger both is an addrinaline rush. Just enjoy the hunt. And always hunt fair chase

Depends whether you are a hairy chested he-man or you just want to turn a bambi into bambi burgers. Rifles are much more effective, but bow hunting is a much more difficult proposition. Bow hunting is like fishing on light gear, it's more about the sport than catching fish.

There is no real answer to this as it's a matter of personal preference. While both are indeed hunting there is a different skill level for each of these hunts. Of course rifle hunting is not near as difficult as archery, but that don't mean that one is necessarily better than another.

Both are very thrilling and for me they are exiting in their own way.

I think it takes more skill to hunt with a bow. I haven't shot a bow since I was in high school, and I never did any hunting with it, just target shooting. When you hunt with a bow, your target has to be relatively close, but with a rifle, it can be several hundred yards away.

Any one can pull a trigger...it takes some strength to use a bow. Plus a rifle is more accurate over a longer distance as well.

A bow is better if you plan on eating the animal though.

Anyone who truly feels that bowhunting takes no more skill than rifle hunting has only watched it on tv. Plain and simple. Any form of legal game pursuit is awesome! The real trick is how close can you actually get. I encourage everybody who has questions on this sport to try it rather than ask questions about it. There is no teacher like experience, and you might just find your place in the predator/prey scheme of things. Humans are born carnivores with a desire to fend for themselves regardless of what any liberal bone-head says!

I like both, here in Montana archery season starts around 7 weeks earlier than rifle season.
Also in the area I live, archery season is the only time you can hunt Elk during the rut.
