Does anyone have any awesome campsites located in Tennessee? I'm looking for a site with lots of great hiking trails and nice scenery.. maybe some fishing and kayaking/canoing. Just a fun place to spend a romantic week.

ok, well im planning on doing some winter camping/ice fishing this year in northern wisconsin. I will have a large portable ice shanty and heater .

but what would be the best sleeping bag i could buy for these types of temperatures. It gets below zero in january but in december im expecting it to only be in the teens on average.

I found a nice Coleman square sleeping bag at Fleet Farm rated -5 degrees. $59.99

but does this mean it is comfortable in -5 degree cold? the chart on the box seemed a bit misguiding saying that the comfort temp was 20-30 i think. and below that was dangerous/extreme cold. ????

I know ill have a shanty and heater but i dont want to rely solely on that.

anyone have any good suggestions for sleeping bags under $80???

Which manufacturer makes the very best hiking footwear? What styles have you tried and what's your opinion of them? Where is a good spot to do that? I live in SE Missouri, so I know the Ozarks are right there, mabey there's somewhere in Illinois, or TN, or KY, or somewhere around there where I can do some real Wilderness camping.... Also, does that have a name? Wilderness Camping? I know there's RV camping, and Camp ground Camping, but is there a proper name for Wilderness Camping? Anyways, any help will be greatly appreciated! This is all for backpacking
they are100 percent cotton but they more breathables than denem. Should i go with them. If not what is an inexpensive brand or alternative? Are military ripstop BDUs ok?

My friends and I were trying to find a hiking trail in Massachusetts that would be about 10miles long, making it a fun weekend activity. We need to find a trail that we could sleep over night if we wanted to. Also a river of somesort would be cool to sort of relax by.
