I bought it a year ago and have only fired about 60 rounds with it. It is in great condition and has zero problems. I want to sell it fast, probably to a gun shop. How much can I expect to get for it and will a gun shop even buy it? I don't care if I get a little below what it is worth. I'd rather sell it fast.

Whenever I've bought a gun in the past it's been from a dealer/store. So they register it then. I just bought a pistol from my friend, so how/where do I get it registered?

Yes, I know I love them too, and can spend hours looking over the fine points of this or that. But it seems that many of the questioners are more obsessed by a specific thing than the ability to shoot at something.
Every, and I mean every, firearm I have owned has worked flawlessly. Not always as accuratly as I would prefer but certainly as well as to be expected. So when someone asks what is the best this or the best that, I have to wonder unless you need a very specific thing, the main thing is how well you shoot it.
Any gun in well practiced hands is deadly, any round can kill. The real question is back to basics, Can you put it in the 10 ring when you need to?
Anyone agree?

I Purchased this Ruger in 12/06 (have receipt) and I've only shot this 1 time at a range (about 150 rounds). The base (silver) model was $250. Butler Creek fluted barrel was $150. Silver/gray laminated stock with thumbhole was $150. Volquartsen TG2000 2.5lb trigger kit was $200. Bushnell 3-9x40 Scope was $65. Scope mounts $35. Extra Anniversary clear magazine $20. Aluminum case $50. I also have a couple hundred rounds to add in and a brand new sandbag rest and a pair of Smith & Wesson glasses as well. The rifle is spotless with no dings or dents.

My farthest, a coyote at 427 yards. He ran off, i hit him in the paw. Closest, a coyote at 22 yards. He didnt run off, i hit him in the head.

I am new to sea fishing.I get what its about just a bit(10z lead=10lb shockleader,3oz=30lb shockleader)

This is the thing I want to do most right now. I watched Shark Week and would really like to see some sharks in the wild but the charters are more than a grand.

So that's going to be the only way unless my dad buys a boat, finally.

How do they expect people to see what sharks are really like if it's almost impossible to see them in their element?

Hi there. I'm looking to do some camping while on a one week trip through New Mexico. Seems a lot more fun to grab some time under the stars rather than spend each night in a motel.

My question: What's my best bet to comfortably sleep outside while in the southwest in August? I'd prefer to do it without a tent. Do I need a sleeping bag? Sleeping pad? No fear of the outdoors here, just never roughed it quite this thoroughly.
