They were imported to the US and sold for a while, then future importation was outlawed. It is not illegal to own or sell or purchase.
You can still find one for sale now and again, but they have become desirable collectors items and prices have climbed accordingly. Expect $700 to $1100.
This is a heavy, cumbersome shotgun that goes semi auto or pump and while it would be great for fighting off a army of Zombies, it's way too heavy for me to want to lug one around when I can use a lightweight pump shotgun or something like a Saiga 12.

Go to GUNSAMERICA and check for one for sale. I owned one years ago; bought it for 200.00 and let myself get talked out of it; thought I would buy another one. Last time I looked they wanted 1,200.00 for one. They are pretty darned heavy if you want something to carry.
