Outdoor Recreation - August 2007

Hi, during a trip to the far north of Scotland my son had a go at sea fishing (from the rocks). Now he is back in Gloucestershire (now drying out) he is keen for us to take him to the coast where he can fish some more. Any ideas as to good places to go nearby?

I just got out of the Marines after 5 years of enlisment and now am interested big game hunting. I have never hunted,with the Marines I was shooting (like all Marines) very well 350 plus meters iron sights. Should I be capable of shooting the same on iron sights with say 30-06, or do I "have" to get a scope. I mean with a bolt action

I have a beretta model 92f 9mm and was wondering if anyone knows about how many rounds should be put through the barrel berfore one should replace it, Would it be in the 1,000's or 10,000's....or something more ? I do alot of target shooting with freinds, kinda little freindly competition, And just would like my firearm working at its best. I just got a spincast rod today and i tried releasing it and it wont release the line when i press the button down and ive tried opening it up and seeing if theres somthing wrong and there isnt anything i can do to make it release.
