...had won the presidential election in the year 2000? Do any of you believe that George W. Bush had been in cahouts with brother Jeb Bush to skew the restults of the Florida recount in order to secure a victory? If Gore would have won, how would things be different politically, regarding the 9/11 incident, regarding the religious atmosphere and sentiment in the United States, and most of all, regarding environmental, scientific, and technological issues? How would we be dealing with issues regarding oil and the transition to new sources of energy, the stem cell matter, and the war in Iraq (if there would even have been one)? How would we deal with evil forces such as the Taliban and Osama, the now indisputable agreed upon purporters of the 9/11 incident? In the documentary Jesus Camp, George W. Bush is praised for his work as a faithful evangelical christian, and it is said that because of the evangelical majority in the U.S., they will decide the outcome of any election.

Is there an evangelical conspriacy to destroy science and modern civilization in the name of an evangelical christian theocracy? Dubya's political campaign has been one of the most ignorant and unscientific of any president that I have ever read of. Are we in danger because of this outcome? Please inform me with your enlightened opinions in whatever manner possible.

Try posting your rhetoric in the appropriate section, this is the HUNTING section, not the whiney liberal left wing tree hugger section.

if gore were president, iraq would have gotten a slap on the wrist and no grain shipments for 3 months and maybe put in time out for an hour. i'm from tennessee and can tell you when the majority of people in your own state can't stand you, your no good to the rest of the country, either. his book earth in the balance is laughed at by everyone in the scientific/enviornmental field, it is nonsense. also, al didn't invent the innernet as he claimed either. you need to post your ignorant b.s. somewhere else besides hunting section unless we can open season on "spotted al" gore!

The World Trade Center and the Pentagon would have been the first of many terror attacks on the United States, and Gore would have done nothing to stop them beyond offering concessions and wringing his hands.

If gore had won the world would now be a radioactive piece of slag floating in space and there would be no human life; not that there is any human intelligence at the present time.

Gore would have been kicked out of power in 2002 by Al-Qaeda invaders, but not before making oil, gasoline, and breathing illegal. Global chaos would skyrocket the cost of everything, including, most importantly (for me at least), ammunition. My stock of ammo would be long dry by now and I'd be forced to fight President bin Laden with a sling shot. For mine and the world's sake, it's a good thing Bush won.
