A before and after is like continuing players with common names.

Ron Francis + Francis Bouillon = Ron Francis Bouillon.

What are some with 3 or more players?

The pond is just to far for extension cables and I am wondering if there's any wireless spotlights or anything like that out there.

Or the really smart whipper snappers? I remember reading a long time ago, a story about a coach (or maybe player) that physically attacked a fan in the stands of an arena during a game. This was before there was glass around the boards or bench area. If my memory serves me right, it was the result of some heckling.

Who was this coach (or maybe player), and do you remember how the story went?

I was having an discussion with my friend at a bar, and I suggested that I was sure that in the history of professional hockey there had to be an instance where a hockey player after being high sticked, cut themselves with some object in order to draw a 4 min high sticking major.

Does anyone know of a story (at any level of hockey) where a player was caught for cheating in this manner?

does anyone but me think that the leafs should get rid of john ferguson jr and paul marice this off season??? Like come on hes oviously a crappy GM who only cares about money and nothing about the quailty of his hockey franchise....To be honest i think the leafs should get a new GM like scotty bowman and a new coach like pat burns and get rid of everyone, yes even sundin and do what pittsburg did and start fresh with just keeping there young guns and being last in the conference so they could get good players like crosby and malkin....Does anyone think the only good that can happen to the leafs is to lose every single game so they can start fresh by being first for the draft??

If the Wings end up winning the division again this year, all the Wing-bashers can't use their "central division sucks" excuse this year. That's to say the Wings can win it. They've struggled a little this year, especially against the Hawks. Does it surprise anyone that the Central division is the best in the league right now?

I know it doesn't matter now, since the US dollar equals roughly $1.02 in Canadian money, but I always wondered about 20 years ago or so, when the exchange rate was greater.

Name some players of this era that spent their entire career with one team. They can be active but keep the active players to 10 years or more. Also keep the draft year to after 1980.

Modano, Yzerman, Sakic, Koivu, Lecavelier, Alfredsson, Lidstrom, Holmstrom

The first roster came out for Team Canada yesterday. There will be some tough cuts there.

Anyways, my question is- Can you see any NHL clubs loaning their players to Team Canada this year? Obviously, Jordan Staal won't be going, Toews won't be going. Possibility that Gagner could be on loan from the Oilers?
Man, I always look forward to this tourney. You Pens fans will finally get to see Espisito showcased, assuming he makes the team, which I would think he would.
No Logan Couture, even on the preliminary list. Goaltenders seem set in stone. Good chance to see Stamkos (should be the #1 overall pick this year), interested to see if Tavares can impress me finally. Want to see how Flyers pick Gireaux does (having a fine season in the Q). Van Riemsdyk for the U.S.
Should be good.

It's interesting reading certain responses from certain people; it's almost like our personalities come through. I have grown somewhat annoyed with a few "names" and it got me thinking:
Are there any rivalries (or banterings) in this NHL chat spot?

Why is that? Someone will answer a question and apparently. some idiot is roaming the hockey section putting thumbs down on every question, even if they are good answers!
It's driving me a bit insane.

But anyways, to make this meaningful..

Everyone always aske 'Who is your favorite player on your favorite team?' I'm going to switch it up..
Who is your LEAST favorite player on your FAVORITE team?

Me?
My favorite team is the Penguins, of course, and I'd have to say my least favorite player/players are Dany Sabourin and Brooks Orpik.
Ehh, jsut not a fan of either.
