Sorry TBL but you are out to lunch on this. I knew this would happen. And a player on the roster for more than half the season can have a huge impact; especially if they arrive in close to game shape. Adding both makes the Ducks a damned powerful team (again).
Remember, the goal is to make the playoffs, after that they are all on fairly even footing again.
This would make the Ducks the best defence in the league by a long shot.
I just think that the loop hole that allowed this to happen needs to be closed.
CME: the cap space was there if both were to only play from January on.

It's too little, too late.

These guys needed to make a desicion BEFORE this season began; the Ducks are third in their division, and obviously could have used Niedermayer and Selanne since the beginning of the year.

I already did, three weeks ago. Good thing I have Ranger and Zubov picking up all of Niedy's slack.

Bob, are you kidding? I just finished whooping Wings Fan, and I'm beating the #1 team in the league!!! Why aren't you doing anything about the trade I offered you? Are you going to accept or reject it?

It's not too late TB, lots of season left. Mike, too little too late for your ugly fantasy team LOL. I have seen these rumours before, I will believe it when I see it but I think he will be back. Contradicting myself much?

Calm down; he's not gonna turn the team around. Shouldn't have gotten rid of Bryzy.
