Jere Lehtinen, Patrick Marleau, Patrick Elias, Mattias Ohlund, Olaf Kolzig and Martin Brodeur on the active side.

Steve Yzerman, Mario Lemieux, Mike Bossy, Ken Morrow, Denis Potvin, Mike Richter, Ron Greschner on the retired side.

EDIT: Sorry, missed the draft cutoff. That removes Bossy, Morrow, Potvin and Greschner.

EDIT 2: Stevens started with the Caps and went to the Blues before landing in NJ. Iginla was a Dallas draft pick. Pang played a total of 80 NHL games in two seasons. As such, these 3 do not qualify.

I really love it. I appreciate when these things happen because I think that's what more people should do. These days, we are seeing players like CC Sabathia, Cliff Lee, and more ditch their old teams for a chance to win and of course, money. However, I really admire a player when he stays on a team that is not so good like Mark Buehrle and Paul Konerko for the White Sox, Ichiro for the Mariners, Jeff Bagwell and Craig Biggio with the Astros, players like that who didn't always have success. Not taking away from Jeter but I really wish more people were like that.

Jarome Iginla was a Dallas Star before joining Calgary. He played exhibition games was an emergency call-up once (but didn't dress).

Steve Yzerman not only spent his entire career with Detroit, is now in management, became a US citizen, he also held the respected "C" longer than any other player in NHL history. That doesn't answer your question though! :o)

I can add to the list. . . .

Mario Lemieux - Penguins
Ken Daneyko - Devils
Martin Brodeur - Devils
Jarome Iginla - Flames
Darren Pang - Blackhawks
Olaf Kolzig - Capitals

Missed the draft cutoff too. That takes out Taylor, Bossy, and Dryden. . . .

Stevens....how the hell did I miss that one? Thanks. . . .

I guess the question doesn't really make it clear if exhib games count or not. . . .I kept Iginla in for that reason, I can take him out if it doesn't count. . . .
