Well if you're a Habs fan, you must know the frustration I feel. The Canadiens can't buy a goal! The lines clearly aren't working. If you were the coach what would your lines be?

Mine would be...

Higgins Koivu Kovalev
Samsonov Plekanec Latendresse
Streit Bonk Johnson
Perezhogin Lapierre Ryder

Of course when Begin gets back he'll take over the 4th line center position...

Of course, with the way they are playing now, I would say they will make it to at least the Eastern Conference Finals. However, I'm bias towards the Pens because I've been a fan since '93. I want to know answers from those who are fans of the Pens as well as those impartial to the Pens.

At the beginning of the season right up untill the All-Star break the Canadiens were showing how great a team they can be even with the lopsided reffing, but now if they were to put two wins in a row it would be a banner day. Can anyone explain this to me????

They are the hottest team in the league, 10-0-2 past 12 games!
Only 9 pts behind NJ in their division!
Won 6 more games and have 7 more pts then all of last year!
Beaten some of the NHL's best teams!
Are 4th in the eastern conference!
looks like the team has come togther!

Just want to know why people say they have no chance to win the cup?

It seems like every game that the Flyers and Pens play against each other, that Forsberg and Crosby are in each others face atleast once. Is that like the best player rivaly or what?

I've tried Ebay, NHLshop.com, Bostonbruins.com, etc...

It doesn't have to be authentic...a nice official-looking replica would be nice. I also don't want to spend over $100 for it...

Any ideas???

I am a big hockey fan and I have been one for a while so I pose these questions as a big fan of the game. It seems that hockey is hard to market in America as a professional sport, this may be caused by marketing blunders, but I do not ever remember a time when hockey was really THAT marketable to the average American. Because of this, compounded with the fact that there have been some blunders (ALL STAR on Wednesday?), I feel the NHL is rather weak, especially with the current fan base. New changes have alienated old fans without attracting new fans. So the questions I pose to you all is: Is the NHL worthy to be saved? Is it really that bad? Companies have crumbled because they relied on older customers to carry them without getting new customers, and when all of the old customers died, they were left without anyone, should the NHL try as hard to attract new fans? How much sacrifice should be made? What is a good compromise? Thanks, please refrain from straw man attacks on Bettman,
