He has been beat up/pushed around on the ice lately, does he need some muscle players to defend him so he can score goals?

Do you think that the three punches were dirty? I dont. I think they were good hits, it is part of the game, and he just happened to be knocked out and had a skull fracture.

I know he's gone for at least the rest of the season, but how long does it take to recover from something like that completely? I feel terrible that this happened to a guy who was just beginning to come into his own in the league and I hope he's back to 100% soon!

I heard of some one taking their hockey gloves, and cutting off the upper cuff part, detaching the actual fabric, putting it under a sewing machine, stichting their own name into the fabric, then reattchting the entire cuff to the rest of the glove. I also heard of someone making their own "stamp" from carving out their name in a puck. I wanna do this to my gloves to make them look cool, does anyone have any other ideas?

I did notice the Maple Leafs wore their whites at last night's game against the Pens. What's the ruling on this?

1. The NHL Lockout
2. The 'new' NHL is like the NBA on ice (a penalty called every 10 seconds)
3. Too much expansion
4. The NHL was on ESPN, now it is on the VS. network.
5. Now, he's talking about making the nets bigger.

I do NOT want to jinx it but the in the last week:
-The games have been way more intense
-The Refs are less out of control
-Fighting seems to be more
-The games have been way more entertaining
- I feel a little happy that I purchased center Ice.
I really hope it stays this way. Sorry to be positive, I know its not like me but I'm enjoying a NHL game....

What and arsewhipping put on Newberry by Petrovicky.

Pylon Gill had to try to take on someone 150lbs lighter than him.

Petrovicky whips Newberry in and out of consciousness.

Staal beats Blowcroft like a renned mule.

Maurice and Sundin cry all night.

Malkin? Latendresse? This is all too much to handle. Malkin and Latendresse have a combined 105 games. Latendresse!?! Jesus Christ Hab Fan.
Sid is the obvious choice for the future, he will get stronger and further ahead of the competition, he just is not ready physically. To the candidates...
Joe Thorton; turned Cheechoo in Maurice Richard. Deserves Recognition. Reigning Hart (MVP) and Art Ross(League Leader in Points)
Joe Sakic and Peter Forsberg, both are past their respective primes. Sakic 1291 GP 1549 PTS +43. Forsberg, 678 GP 853 PTS +228. Mathematically speaking, if Forsberg had Sakics' durability he would have close to 1700 points.
Winner is Nick Lidstrom 1152 GP 854 PTS +334. Playoff bound every year of his career, 4 time Norris winner.
Unmentioned, Jagr (#12 all time scoring).
To the guy who called out Gretzky, 970 more points than anyone in history, stop it. (970 is more than Forsberg's career, see above)
Stop talking about what you do not know.
