There are 4 boys in the Staal family, and they all play hockey.
The oldest is Eric, who plays for the Carolina Hurricanes and won the Stanley Cup last year.
The second brother, Marc, is a defenseman who was drafted by the New York Rangers and currently plays for the Sudbury Wolves in the Ontario Hockey League.
Next is Jordan, who currently plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins and leads the NHL in shorthanded goals.
The youngest is Jared. He plays for the Sudbury Wolves along with his brother Marc.

This a great, talented hockey family with 1 Cup in the trophy case and my guess is they will get a couple more before they are all done.
It is amazing how many families have had at least two brothers make to the NHL. There are tons (Esposito, Dryden, Sutters -6 of them, Mahovilich, Statsny, Howe, Hull, Broten, Patricks etc.) You just don't see that as much in other sports.

Four; Eric is already a very good player and Jordan looks well on his way to joining him. In fact, J.Staal had never played left wing before this season (his first in the NHL, no less) and has a whopping 23 goals (if memory serves).
Marc is a big, skilled lefthander with immense promise and although I have not seen Jared yet (I believe that he plays very limited minutes for Sudbury), rumors of his potential are widespread. Not bad for a bunch of country boys from Thunder Bay, eh?

There's four. The first answerer named them. Eric is good. Haven't seen or heard much about Marc. Jordan is fantastic. He is having a great rookie year. He is in the shadow of his top two teammates, Crosby and Malkin. He is going to have a great NHL career ahead of them. But watch out, if what all the hockey experts say is true the best is yet to come. They say Jared is the best of them all.

There are four Marc, Eric, Jordon, and Jared, and they all play hockey. Scouts are saying that Jared is supposed to be the best of out all the brothers so i can wait to see what he can do.
