In my hockey pool I've got Kari lehtonen, Cam Ward and Ed Balfour and I've got to bench one of them. I know Lehtonen and Balfour are starting, and if I can find out if Ward is starting or not I'll know to bench Balfour who sucks a**. Please help!

The scoreboard software may just be flaky, but I want to know if others see it and if Yahoo plans on fixing it. I can't get reliable scores for MLB or NFL playoffs either, although I have them both selected to appear in my scoreboard.

Do you think the penalties are fair? Do you think that some players can get away with murder depending on how elite of a player they are? For example Ovechkin checked a player into the door opening from behind and never got a penalty, a suspension,nothing. If that had been a guy like Brashear he definately would have gotten a suspension from the league from past wrong doings.
Is this policy fair?
Do you think that if a player intentionally injures( or in some cases even if it is not intentional) another player the suspension should equal the injury. For example a player checks another player from behind and breaks his arm. If the player that got his arm broken is out for 6 weeks the player that caused the injury should be out for 6 weeks.

In my opinion, I believe he is the worst commissioner in pro sports. The commissioner is supposed to spark interest, and make the game grow as a whole, just look at tagaligue and stern and what they have done fo their leagues. Bettman is KILLING his league. In the mid '90s, everybody was talking that hockey might get so big it might become bigger than basketball, while I never believed it to going that big. Bettman and the players, and the league have the worst time connecting to fans after the strike. Bettman's worst dcison as the commissioner is giving the TV deal to VS. VS is a channel in the 600s at my satelittle at home, and is very hard t find. If Bettmann were smart, he needed to realize if he was going to be on that channel, ESPN, the major sports channel, was not going to give the league a ton of attention that the game deserves. Bettman is driving the game of hockey to the ground, and is probably not even in the top 4 sports anymore. NHL needs2 ad youngguys2becomebig

Do you believe that they can make the Cup, or do you believe like the previous two seasons they will get to the playoffs and not be able to do anything in the playoffs. I am a Preds fan, but until I see them win a playoff series, won't believe they can make the Cup.

Are there any hockey teams close to Monterey, California?
Getting ready to go out there for about a year and a half and love going to hockey games!
I don't know much about California and won't have a car so they would have to be fairly close to Monterey.
If they don't have hockey are there any other sports out there?
