what wouldi have to do to move up to canada to play hockey?

one good place to go show off your talent would be in the Greater Toronto area which there are lots of really good hockey players and programs you can look for.

You will probably need to apply for temporary residency or something along those lines. Research into a Province, city or town where they have Junior teams. You can probably even contact some of the teams via e-mail or phone or mail telling them what you would like to do. If you have a resume, you might want to also look for a job because living in Canada isn't free (unless you have family somewhere).

Each team is only allowed a certain amount of import players so your chances are limited more than a Canadian.
I would suggest you go online under OHL, WHL, QMJHL and go into each individual team site and find out the names of management, coaches, scouts etc. and e mail or call them and sell yourself.
Find out when the tryouts for next season are and some how get there and show them what you can do. Good luck.

why the drastic step?--isnt there hockey/league near you?--if there is prove yourself there and then sign up for some kind of clinic in canada.--if you are good they will be asking you when they see you and not you asking them
