Mark Recchi is a workhorse! He has always been a top line winger, and he is still going strong at 39. He has a great wrist shot, and always gets in a good position to either smack in a rebound or receive a good pass for a scoring opportunity. If he wants to, I think he still has a good few years left in him. I hope he sticks around for a few more seasons!

He's about the same as he has been the past few years. Fact is that last year he scored 57 points in only 63 games while he was in Pittsburgh. He has 51 in 53 games now. That's a bit of an improvement, but nothing all that significant. The year before that he scored 75 points in 82 games. The team, on the whole, is playing better. That's going to shoot everyone's stats up a bit. So I would say he's an ageless wonder... to a point. It is not like he's putting up Sydney Crosby numbers. He's Mark Recchi, and he's putting up Mark Recchi numbers. Good for him!

I wouldn't say he is a fluke. He has always been a good player. He did play great as a Flyer. Won the cup last year with the Hurricanes. Now he back in Pittsburgh to win another cup with Crosby. More then likely they will go to the cup finals this year and win. If that does happen, expect to see him retire at the end of the season.

i don't think of Recchi would be moved to closer the tradedeadline, and then he will join a kit. He grew to become into an exceedingly solid participant, yet now he seems to be like having issues protecting up interior the "new" NHL. And with cap restraints, communities are lots extra keen now to lift a youthful decrease priced participant from the minors quite than the older nicely difficulty-free gamers like they used to. (IE undesirable might) This has made it lots harder for older gamers to stay interior the league. that's a around approximately way of asserting, they gained't get lots for him.

He has always been a very good winger, but now with Sid the Kid as his center - Recchi is playing some of his best hockey in years!

Ageless Wonder, look what he did for Carolina last year as well. Yeah he does need some talent to help him, but so does ANY Winger.

Ageless wonder hands down, it would be a fluke if it was just for one game but he has been doing it for awhile now.

Ageless wonder. He was outlasting Crosby on his shifts the other night and was flying up and down the ice.

He's been playing well for the Pens for a while now, not to mention being on the Stanley Cup team last year. The Recchin' ball has still got it.
