Nahh...it couldn't be THAT long, could it? It could be worse...you could be a fan of the football Detroit Lions

Try being a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates. They have not had a winning season since 1992. That's 14 straight losing seasons, and if this coming season is any indication, number 15 is right around the corner. Remember this when you talk about the Leafs: if that high sticking call against Wayne Gretzky is called in the 1993 Western Conference final, the Leafs would have crushed Montreal and celebrated a Stanley Cup. They have had competitive teams, of course, but fear not. Their time is coming soon.

They are one of the most losing teams the last 40 years or so. However, not the worst in history. The Rangers had a 54 year drought before they won in 1994, the Blackhawks have not won since the 1940s. The Canucks have never won a thing, neither has Buffalo (though they got a great chance this year). Buffalo has been in the league since '68 and Vancouver since about '72

Actually the Blackhawks last won the Stanley Cup in 1961. The Leafs in 1967.
As well both the Sabres and Vancouver joined the NHL in 1970.

Nope. That dubious honor belongs to the Chicago Cubs; no championships since 1908

They are up there, but I would have to say the Chicago Cubs have them beat.
