I was on the forum and came across a post where a user was asking how come our info from YA is appearing on sites we didn't sign up for. I googled my user name and found loads of sites where my Q and A's , profile info and username are being used.

Years ago David Beckham was praised and almost worshipped. When people said England and soccer Beckham usually found its way into the conversation. He used to be the symbol of soccer in England. He may not have been the best but he was still a very good player. He moved to the Galaxy so that he could give publicity to soccer in the U.S. He has a ton of endorsements. You should atleast show him the respect he deserves. Show him the same respect that he got when he was still in England. When Zidane's and Pele's careers ended nobody critisized them. Zidane was red carded and thrown out of the World Cup finals. I'm a fan of Zidane too but, come on you can't just call someone a loser just b/c they come to the U.S. to play soccer.

Mine was Leeds v Derby around 97. We we're 3-0 down after 30 minutes and I was seriously thinking of going home. We managed to get it back to 3-2 by half time. In the 80th minute we equalised and the place erupted. Then in injury time we got the winner, I lost my voice. Brilliant

Just read that the number 17 is considered unlucky in Italy. Italian airlines have no Row 17, many hotels in the country have no Room # 17....also something to do with Roman numerals for the number have a bad meaning.

On top of that, Italy has only won 4 of 11 games played on the 17th of any month in the past 30 ytears......

Italy take on Scotland this Saturday...the 17th...kick-off 1700 hrs.....freaky or what? But then again are Italians really that superstitious?......or just your footballers?

In Italy, the number 17 is considered unlucky. Some Alitalia planes have no row 17, some Italian hotels have no room 17 and in Roman numerals XVII is an anagram of VIXI which translates into "I have lived" with the implication "my life is over" or "I am dead".

Italy play Scotland in a crucial Euro 2008 qualifier at Hampden Park on Saturday, 17 November with kick-off at 1700 GMT - for the record, Italy have won four of their 11 matches played on the 17th of a month in the last 30 years.

PLACE YOUR BETS FOLKS ON SCOTLAND IF YOU WANT TO WIN SOME CASH. HAAA AAAH.

High Ticket prices, expensive team shirts, more and more 'directors boxes' in modern stadiums that take up normal seating space. How can the average joe afford to watch his team play when it costs and average of £22.50 to see a top class (top two divisions) team play.

Has the game of football been taken away from the original working class fan base it was founded for?
