They have the 49ers 1st round draft pick. They'll be able to get a great rookie which will only make them better. Brady, Moss, Welker, and Maroney aren't going anywhere and neither is their defense. What's gonna stop them from doing it again?

and had the $$$$ to would our players run away to canada and play for more dollars.. i mean we had all those draft dodgers that took off across the border because there country wanted to screw them over so why wouldnt americans today do it for more $$$$??

CFL is up and coming.. Michael Vick will back it when he gets out of prison and take it to its extremes. watch out cause nfl is like the old xfl in 10 years.

The reson the patriots have more fans is because people abandon their long liked teams to join the large number of fans just because the pats are 15-0 and by and chance they lose to the giants these people wold go all the way back to their old teams

the Giants to upset the Patriots,
or the Patriotsgoing undefeated?

Why do you think this is? What would YOU like to see happen?

I know its unlikely that the Patriots will come away with any serious injury. But is a 16-0 record worth the posible risk and not comleting the season with a championship due to a major injury to your key players. It's not like they need to win the game. They already have homefield wrapped up. I wonder what those Patriot fans would think about this if the unthinkable were to happen. I'm a Packers fan and even thogh I hate the Chicago Bears, I think that the '85 Bears are the best team of all time, even though they didn't go undefeated like the '72 Dolphins.

Why not just start the teams on the 25 or something? Kickoffs are almost never run back for TDs, and sometimes players are injured on them.

I'm not saying Parcells was a bad coach in Dallas, but let's look @ the facts:
-Bill Parcells never won more than 10 games in 4 seasons. Wade Phillips has already won 13 games in 1 season!
-Parcells never had a #1 seed in the 2 playoff appearances(2003 & 2006).

Does this logic sound crazy or does it make sense to anyone else????

Peyton Manning or Vince Young for week 17.
Their teams are playing eachother.
Peyton Manning is probably sitting for a lot of the game, while Vince Young HAS TO win the game to make it to the playoffs. If I dont get a good enough answer, im trusting Young

Was anybody else surprised that Texas came out so strong? I wasn't...I knew Arizona State and the Pac 10 are extremely overrated. Go Texas and go big 12!

As I was driving into work this morning in my 72 El Camino hooptie (got 1 hubcap cause 3 got stolen) I overheard talks that Michigan QB Ryan Mallett would probably be transferring because new coach Rich Rodriguez would bring in a his own players, including a QB.

IF this is true... Where shoud the tall dude go?! ESPN Radio speculated a SEC team like Arkansas, or LSU... What college team has the want and need for someone like Mallett?

Why?I understand that the patriots are going to accomplish a feat that's probably harder to do and more important then anyone in your family's entire bloodline has done. But what is the point of being jealous/Sure they'll have the most wins without a loss in one regular season. and they'll have the most touchdowns thrown by a qb in one season and most touchdowns receive by one wr in a season.

But I don't even think it's jealousy. I think we've come to a point in sports in which nobody can be happy when a record is broken. Like people just want the records to stay there. Why? What is the need to put an asterisk on the ball that bonds hit?

Is it that he's so much better then you that you just have to hate him?is it That the patriots are so much better then you as a human-being that you just have to hate them?I don't get why nobody can be happy when a record is broken by someone just plain better then them?

The Patriots are on the verge of:
A) Perfect Regular Season 16-0, if they beat the NY Giants;
B) breaking the NFL record of most points scored during the NFL season with 5 more points (the record is 556 points by the Minnesota Vikings in 1998); the Patriots have scored so far 551 pts.
C) QB Tom Brady needs 1 more TD pass to tie Peyton Manning's record of 49 TD passes; 2 more TD passes to break the record
D) Wide receiver Randy Moss needs 1 more TD reception to tie Jerry Rice's record of 22 TD receptions; 2 more TD receptions to break.
The ideal scenario would be: "Tom Brady threw for 4 TD passes, 3 to Randy Moss in a 40-17 blowout win, giving the Patriots a perfect regular season, making them the highest scoring team in NFL history, and Tom Brady and Randy Moss in the record books with the most TD passes and TD receptions, respectively, in a single season in NFL history!"

It's On!
Ditka loaded up the bus with McMichael, Dent, Singletary, Fencik, Duerson, Peyton, McMahon and crew from '85 and drove back through the Time Tunnel.

Given that the Patriot's toughest game so far was against Rex Ryan's Raven Defense, how would they do against Buddy Ryan's 46?

Could Da Bearz beat Brady, Moss, Welker, Stallworth, Light, Bruschi, Samuel and the rest of Belichick's Patriots?
