all that happened was he received a fine of $400,000. now that's alot to you or me, but to him i'm sure that's no biggy. i mean, i just can't comprehend how when someone cheats and isn't punished accordingly, everyone seems to be okay (in general, of course).

if i were to cheat in a game, i would be thrown out. if my coach were to be caught, we'd lose the game automatically and she/he would be suspended for a certain amount of time. i think belichick should have been fired. yes, i said it: fired. my reasoning is this: he coaches for an NFL team. it doesn't get any higher than that folks! he is a professional. it takes alot to become a coach in the NFL. you have to be good and respected, as well as respectful. he was none of thee above when he cheated. as i said before, if this was a smalltime high school football game, as it is the coach would be suspended and his/her reputation (as a coach) would be damaged. but, this is no "smalltime deal." this is the big time.

anyone who can give me the true story of how and why the longhorns jerseys are burnt orange gets 10. first is best, but the more details the better. for example, why is there a slight variation in the actual burnt orange color every season of the longhorns jerseys? Is he healthy and will he get a full load of running attemps or will they go to his backup. I need a final pick for running back in my NFL weakly roster but I know Minnesota has been sharing running plays with two running backs lately and the weather in Denver is going to be cold.

I have lived in Los Angeles for over 60 yrs. and the Rose Bowl has always been played right after the Rose Parade, BUT, the last couple of years it was played a few days later. I see that this New Years Game is again right after the Parade. Does anyone know why for the past couple of years it was NOT played after the parade? Seems like it would be so very inconvenient for visitors having to spend 3-4 extra days here. Thank you.

Have you seen the video that he and his agent filed a complaint about an NFL official using "unnecessary roughness" on him? I mean isn't he supposed to be a professional football player tough guy? Is he really upset that a 60 year old man pulled him to the ground? If he had just got up and ran back to the huddle like he was supposed to, like a professional than this never would have happened. I think he's just upset that an old man was able to take him to the ground.
The fact that Green Bay's coach commented on this incident just makes me lose respect for the whole Packers organization, I mean come on it's not like the guy was hurt on the play, BUTCH UP NICK!
I commend the offical for getting in the thick of it and separating the players, that takes a lot of guts when you are little old man and these are the best athletes on the planet.

Do people think that Marvin Harrison is just sitting back watching TV or something? The reason he has been held out for so long is so he can get ready for the playoffs after having the injury he suffered. Tony Dungy said he could have played a long time ago if it where a playoff game. The guy has been training, and I think it would be a big mistake to think that he will not be ready when game time comes!
