Interesting question.

I was born and raised a Jets fan, and I love those losers to death. But now I live in NC, so of course I will support my local team, the Panthers, unless they play the Jets.

You can never go wrong with being a Steelers fan. These guys are like the damn plague, they've spread everywhere. And you don't even need to know about football. Just yell PITTSBUUUUURGH! and start a fight if someone asks you a football question.

Dallas is an interesting choice in that other Dallas fans will love you, and they are all really nice people. The downside? Most of us other fans hate Dallas.

You can jump on the Patriots bandwagon and have no respect. I've never met a Pats fan before 2000 if that tells you anything about how the bandwagon has grown.

There are a few other teams you could slide into, like the Falcons. You like them because you support Vick. Or the Titans. You like them because you thought Vince Young got robbed for the Heissman. Or the Dolphins. No one would think you were lieing if you said you were a Dolphins fan. They'd just laugh at you.

My best advice? Watch Mad Max. Buy black clothes. Be a bad ***, and support the Raiders. They have a public motto: Commitment to Excellence. They also have an unspoken motto from days of old: If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'.

Good luck.

I would tell you to support my team the Broncos but since thats never going to happen I'll suggest to you to support an underdog team for this year's playoffs. The Pats, Cowboys, Packers and Steelers have all had their share of championships and they have more than enough hype bandwagon fans. Support the Jags or Bucs, who are both having great seasons but little national recognition. The both had zero players selected to the pro bowl and I'd love to see them match up in the Super Bowl.

When I first started watching I chose a couple of rookies and their teams (Dan Marino and John Elway) but when they retired I decided to look for a team that suited me that was years ago and I am still a huge Pats fan. I would look for a team that suits you, tough team Steelers, fun team Dolphins you now whatever feels good for you but if you are a fly by night fan don't ask just go with whoever during whichever game like the white unis instead of the blue or something

I would say support the team you admire the most, now if your city or state has only one team then sometimes going with the home team is always a choice. its really up to who you feel like rooting for, just don't jump around from team to team.

i think you should support whatever team you like watching the best. i am a big steelers fan && if you were to support them you wouldnt regret it. they have fans in every city in the country and even in some places not in the usa. so if you picked them you would never be alone no matter where you go. && they have won 5 superbowls so thats a big plus too :-D

I think you should root for your hometown team. If you do not have a hometown team that you root for then root for the team(s) that you like. I am rooting for Panthers, 49ers, Dallas, and Chicago. The reason I like Bears because I know Rashied Davis. The reason I like Panthers because I like Steve Smith and Vinny Testeverde although I do know Steve Smith a lot. The reason I like Dallas because of T.O. and Tony Romo. The reason I like the 49ers because that is my hometown team that I root for and I like Shaun Hill and Frank Gore. So I would rather have you choose your favorite teams you like or root for your hometown team only. Your choice, choose wisely. Send me if you become one of my fans like Panthers, 49ers, Dallas, or Bears. Have a nice day!
