Why do you need to be jealous?

Why?I understand that the patriots are going to accomplish a feat that's probably harder to do and more important then anyone in your family's entire bloodline has done. But what is the point of being jealous/Sure they'll have the most wins without a loss in one regular season. and they'll have the most touchdowns thrown by a qb in one season and most touchdowns receive by one wr in a season.


But I don't even think it's jealousy. I think we've come to a point in sports in which nobody can be happy when a record is broken. Like people just want the records to stay there. Why? What is the need to put an asterisk on the ball that bonds hit?


Is it that he's so much better then you that you just have to hate him?is it That the patriots are so much better then you as a human-being that you just have to hate them?I don't get why nobody can be happy when a record is broken by someone just plain better then them?

People are hating them because they are not their team. I am thrilled that the Pats will be recognized as the greatest team ever to play and win a championship.

I don't think it's jealousy. It's just since the spycam incident, the Patriots are now negative in public opinion, and just about everybody outside of New England is rooting against them. Barry Bonds? Do I really need to explain why everybody is against steroid boy's HR record.
Look at Brett Favre. He's getting a new record almost every week and just about everybody in the nation is happy for him reguardless of who their favorite QB or team is. It has nothing to do with jealousy and all about class.

A bit of advice. You need to get over the stupidity of the haters, and learn to laugh at them. This is where most other Pats fans are now.

All the ridiculous hate is their problem not yours.

I had a Grandpa that served in the Navy during WW2, trust me the Patriots aren't doing anything more important then people in my bloodline have done. Anyway I'm not jealous, I honestly don't really care about them. I want someone to beat them because I am tired of their arrogance and their fans arrogance.
