The Patriots are on the verge of:
A) Perfect Regular Season 16-0, if they beat the NY Giants;
B) breaking the NFL record of most points scored during the NFL season with 5 more points (the record is 556 points by the Minnesota Vikings in 1998); the Patriots have scored so far 551 pts.
C) QB Tom Brady needs 1 more TD pass to tie Peyton Manning's record of 49 TD passes; 2 more TD passes to break the record
D) Wide receiver Randy Moss needs 1 more TD reception to tie Jerry Rice's record of 22 TD receptions; 2 more TD receptions to break.
The ideal scenario would be: "Tom Brady threw for 4 TD passes, 3 to Randy Moss in a 40-17 blowout win, giving the Patriots a perfect regular season, making them the highest scoring team in NFL history, and Tom Brady and Randy Moss in the record books with the most TD passes and TD receptions, respectively, in a single season in NFL history!"

A) 16-0*
B) Easily
C) He'll definately tie the record.
D) Same as C. He'll tie (in 16 games) Rice's record of 22 TD receptions. Let's just remember that Rice (the Greatest to ever play the position) did it in a strike-shortened season of 12 games.

A & B are automatic when they step on the field.
There's about a 75% chance of C & D. Here's why:

Belichick may focus more on the running game, to prepare the offense for the final run to the Super Bowl.

Even if the running game isn't primary in the playoffs, the coach will want to show success, so defenses don't tee off on Brady and company.

For sure they will break a 40 year old inter-league record for a simulcast of the game on two different networks, CBS and NBC. This has not occured since Super Bowl I broadcast of 1967.

I want my 10 points. It's a slam dunk.

All four. And another: so many Giant season ticket holders will cash in their tickets at inflated prices on stubhub that it will look like a record 9th home game for the Patriots. I am hoping for a laugher.

I think the only one really in question is the undefeated season. Moss and Brady will both get a TD, which will give them the scoring record.

A, B, and C are practically givens.

I think theyll try to break the Rice record, but I'm pretty sure theyre going to at least tie it.
