in the NFL: on any day of the week ending in "DAY", any team can beat any other team. Like the Jets beat Pittsburgh, for example, so YES, it is DO-able. IF New England were not going for the perfect 16-0 record, they would probably rest their starters because a win CANNOT improve their playoff status and a loss won't hurt them. The Giants also CANNOT improve their playoff position with a win, nor hurt it with a loss, so CLEARLY, New England has several records to play for--as best team of all time, for example.
on the other hand, I AM A GIANTS FAN--so GO BIG BLUE !!

I don't think the Giants can win this game. The Giants make be able to make close though. The Pats though they didn't play there best game last week are on a mission to give the NFL and all doubters the middle finger. I will admit I'm NOT a G-Men fan, but not surprised that Harry Carson would say that. Harry was one of the best linebackers the Giants ever had. The G-Men have been terrible at home and must hope they run the ball decently because they stand absolutely no chance of winning if they have to rely on Eli to win the game.

if the giants play all their starters the whole game i think they match up well with the pats.
the pats have been suspect against the run and the giants just put up 300 yds rushing last week. if i were the giants i go all out on saturday. imagine the swagger the g-men would have going into the play-offs after beating the pats

the giants have nothing to win in this game. if i was in charge of the giants, i'd forfeit the game just to piss everyone who wants these records to fall. minnesota would still have the highest season point total, manning would still be the passing TD king, and Rice still the TD reception king. the patriots can be 16-0* for all i care.

he's right, it is do-able, of course, have u seen the pats play lately? their offense generated 6 pts against the jets, and couldnt do anything against the dolphins in the 2nd half.
is it likely? no. the pats play better against better teams. i give the giants a 15% chance.
