when Brady finishes tomorrow, he will be ahead of Manning in every important category, especially WINS (he's already beaten Peyton there).

Brady is just having a great year & Manning's stats this year are also good. Manning has beaten Brady in almost every QB stats from 2001 thru 2006 except Brady had a higher QB rating (86.5 to Manning's 84.1) in 2001 & in 2002 Brady threw 1 more td pass than Manning. Manning overall stats from 2001 thru 2006 are better than Brady's, but 2007 is just Brady's year, but I still think Pats lose in play-offs. Brady just has 3 rings to Manning's 1, that's why so many people think Brady is better but I still would take Manning over Brady but I like both QB's

2004 Manning-
49tds, 10 ints, 4557 yards, 67.6% completion
2007 Brady (15 games)
48 tds, 8 ints, 4450 yeards, 68.3 % completion
They want the undefeated season, and the records for Brady and Moss. The will pass him in yards for sure and most likely in TDS. Barring a lot of incompletions, which he normally doesn't have, he will also beat him in %. To this point Manning has had a better year, but Brady has another game. He will probably pass him in all of these stats.
Plus Manning has had a for sure hall of fame Wr in Harrison and another possible in Wayne. Brady is finally showing what he can do with real weapons at WR. And throw in the the fact that they are trying for an undefeated season. Also he has 3 rings, and he has been clutch in the post season which Manning hasn't until last year.
It is really 1/1A with these guys... they are both great.

It depends on the fans criteria. Both Brady and Manning are elite Qb's of this decade, Brady has more post season victories than Manning as far as the win-loss column goes, Brady does have less INT than Manning but Manning has played more seasons than Brady so has More Career yards and Td;s. We can debate this all we want but until both Brady and Manning's careers are done with, its unfair to compare them in every category.

Because before this season, he has never had a great receiver, yet he's led his team to 3 Super Bowl championships. Manning has had Harrison his whole career, Wayne half of his career, not to mention Edgerin James, and now Joseph Addai, and just got his first Championship last season. And now that Brady has Moss and company, he's on the verge of breaking Manning's TD record, along with other records and will more than likely will win his 4th Super Bowl.

Manning had one of the best years in 2004, but who claimed the Super Bowl trophy?
Brady is more consistent with super bowl rings than Manning is with 4,000 yards passing.

some people put more weight on Super Bowl wins (ask Dan Marino and John Elway pre-1997) rather than regular season stats
I don't care for either of them (Brady and Manning, I mean) but I don't fool myself into believing they're anything but the elite QBs of this decade

Umm nooo. Manning had 10 INTS and 4557 YDS. Brady only needs 108 YDS and 2 TDS to beat Peyton Manning's records. And he already has less INTS. Please check your stats before submitting the question, but thanks for the 2 points.

cause manning never gets the credit he deserves.... honestly he didn't in college and he doesn't now. Anyone can be a good quaterback when they got whitten and moss to throw too. Manning lost his #1 man harrison when he went down and yet has managed to continue playing amazingly!!!!
