We had this argument with my friends. One argument was that NFL players train to run the 40 so they would have faster times. European soccer players are not timed on this in training to be selected for teams. Also, some NFL players are world class track athletes converted to play football (i.e. Ted Ginn Jr). Soccer players are fast, but are they as fast as the fastest NFL players?

Last year it was the Saints, in recent memories we have had a number of teams make surprise runs to the playoffs after mediocre seasons. Give me one team that has that kind of chance this next season. I'm a Browns fan so I will start with them...they have a young, athletic defense which was hung out to dry to often last season by an offense which couldn't move the ball and which suffered many injuries to the secondary.

The O-line has been improved, the talent at the skill positions is available and the first 3 picks in the draft were all top 10 type talent. This team has the look of a team that can make some noise as the season progresses.

Who do you think?

Who will win the division?

Who will win when they play each other twice?

I'm sure both will go to the play-offs.

Mine is the Buffalo Bills. I can't wait for them to make the playoffs this year. Go Bills! I'll tell you what I'm also kind of a Lions fan but I don't see them going anywhere.

I have to go with Minnesota vs. Green Bay. Yes, I'm a Vikings fan, but since 2003, every game they've played (other than the playoff game in '04) has been within 7 points. Whether both suck or are on a roll, one thing is always for sure---it'll be a nailbiter.

His first few years he was pretty much a positive for the NFL. Young Black male who was keeping his nose clean and was not causing trouble. In college he had no real history of character problems now the past two years he seemed to take a nose dive. The weed in the water bottle thing dog fights. Is his brother marcus bringing him down?
