Evidently Atlanta falcons Quarterback Mike Vic was behind a dog fighting ring in tennessee, He had more than 70 dogs caged, starved and abused for the purpose of fighting for"sport" I am looking for people to participate in a campaign to make an example of Vic, and get him banned for life from the Nfl. letters and E-mails to the Atlanta falcons, Nfl commissioner, news media, and animal cruelty organizations are encouraged.

should the NFL make the playoffs an 16 team match, it would get rid of the bye week that only hurts teams (ravens, chargers last year)and let more teams into the playoffs, plus more excitement

Including ticket sales, television contracts, merchandising, advertising, partnerships etc.. Basically, I am trying to look at the "big picture" here. I want to know which makes more money, in total, the NFL and it's teams, or NASCAR and all it's teams. The answer is not just one aspect of sales (eg ticket sales), rather I would like to know which one makes more in total... to use an analogy---think of the answer in terms of the United States GDP... what's the GDP of NFL vs. NASCAR???

My vote goes for Vick. What has he actually done? Sure, he can run. But he has not really accomplished all that much for as much hype as he gathers from some fans and media.

I have my idea of who is pro footballs greatest linebacker. He played in the AFL many years ago. He was the guy who created the angle system that modern linebackers use today. He also was the first sideline to sideline MLB. He's a 1st ballot hall of famer. He's also an NFL ambassodor. Yet he's not mentioned much by the media because he played in the AFL. I'll say his name after I hear what you all think about your favorite LB. This can be inside or outside LB. The player doesn't have to be an allpro. All he has to be is your favorite linebacker.

If you're the offensive coordinator for an NFL team, how do you gameplan differently vs. a 4-3 instead of a 3-4 scheme?

This is a question that came up with my friends. We're from North Dakota so there's very little bias here since we don't have football nearby. Remember...not fastest...not strongest...not most athletic...but toughest...lays the nastiest blocks, gets the hardest 5 or 10 extra yards after catch before falling. Is willing to impale himself across the middle to catch a ball for his team. 3 names came up most often out of the 15 or so guys...

Steve Smith (Carolina)

Donald Driver (Green Bay)

Hines Ward (Pittsburgh)

...a good case can be made for any of them. Steve Smith is by far the most athletic and strongest. Driver is virtually impossible to knock the ball loose from in midair, he can get hit by a 747 and hang on. And as far as Hines, I've seen that man knock literally knock linebackers unconcious, and take 6 extra hits to fight for a half-extra yards at midfield!

They're three tough bastards..but whose the gosh-damn toughest grittiest receiver in the league?
