Evidently Atlanta falcons Quarterback Mike Vic was behind a dog fighting ring in tennessee, He had more than 70 dogs caged, starved and abused for the purpose of fighting for"sport" I am looking for people to participate in a campaign to make an example of Vic, and get him banned for life from the Nfl. letters and E-mails to the Atlanta falcons, Nfl commissioner, news media, and animal cruelty organizations are encouraged.

I am more than happy to help to bring this savage SOB to the attention of the media and the commission.

To Dale D who says

"There are much worse things going on in the NFL that dog fighting. So why pick this out to complain about? What about the rampant drug use? The violence? Thoes are much worse than dog fights."

I have to say that the persons in the NFL who engage in drug use are doing this to themselves, the violence is what the public watches the game for and what the players are (ridiculously) getting paid millions of dollars to do. I'm pretty positive those dogs wouldn't chose to be starved, beaten, treated with cruelty in order to make them mean. AND the issue isn't with the NFL so much as it is about a star player who many people look to as an example.

Any of you who can't feel compassion for this issue - well - I really pity you.

Wayne you present some good points, what the NFL should do is suspend him for a few games, maybe fine him some money. The Law should take the house (Titled to him) that the dogs were kept at. Vick should also make a P.A. about the illegal dog fights. Everybody has to understand that kids as young as 10 years old are getting involved w/ dog fighting. Why? Because they can make more money in a day then most civil people make in a month. As for the person that called you a moron; the house was titled to Vick and if he had no idea somebody in his family was fighting dogs out of that house, then he won't get jail time, but the law should take possession of the house. Oh and by the way ask the "moron" where Vick's brother is right now? It is sicking what these high priced pro players are doing w/ the money they earn. I better stop now otherwise I won't be able to stop! Sick just SICK!!!!

With the football season upon us it reminds me of the Michael Vick case. He made dogs fight to their
death, watch them, enjoyed it. He mutilated them and let them mutilate each other. He ripped out their
teeth. He electrocuted them. He buried them alive. He also used bait animals. Bait animals can be other
dogs, kittens, puppies, cats, and rabbits. He took a female dog removed all her teeth and tied her up so
that she would breed. Jumper cables were clipped onto the ears of under-performing dogs and they were
electrocuted. He did this for entertainment. These are the calculated acts of a sociopath. People who
abuse animals seldom stop there.
He tortured animals to death and admitted he got an adrenaline rush when he did so. Pedophiles have
admitted to getting an adrenaline rush when they were raping children, and/or killing them.
He has no remorse. Even Jefferey Dahmer showed remorse for what he had done. His kennels closed
shop because he got caught, and even when he got caught he lied about his involvement. He had said that
he helped save animals lives. Michael Vick had the money to humanely euthanize the dogs he didn't
want. Instead he chose to electrocute, drown, hang, and beat them to death.
Now that he is back on top with his career, he is able to admit in his new book, "I knew I was going to try
to lie my way through the whole dog-fighting case and see if money, good lawyers, and manipulating the
system could get me out of the position I was in - which was a terrible position."
I have heard many people make excuses for him. All of them ridiculous. One is the culture angle. This
is a part of his culture and he had been dog fighting since he was 8 years old. So their is nothing wrong
with it. Really?
I don't buy it. But let's say it is. So what. Do we excuse female mutilation, rape, incest, honor killings?
Are these excusable just because they are of a culture? Is this excusable because the victims are dogs?
This is not a sport such as hunting or fishing. These are domesticated animals whom he tortured in a
mass murder setting.
He received a mild sentence and is back in the NFL. Now he is writing a book about himself, cha-ching.
Some acts are unforgivable. Hard to forgive someone who has shown no remorse.

You really need to get your facts straight before you do anything. First of all it wasn't in Tennessee, it was in Virginia. Secondly, he owned the house but did not reside there. Third and more important is that he hasn't been arrested at this time. So you need to cool your jets and go after people like Pacman Jones, Tank Johnson, and the thugs that are known felons.

No. I'm more interested in watching him try to play QB. After a few more years of mediocrity, the people that think Vick is the greatest QB thats ever walked the face of the earth will have to eat their own words, swallow their pride and admit they were very wrong. That would make me much happier than him being banned.

Why not try to get the real idiots like Pacman Jones banned?

That's too excessive and it would NEVER happen. You think the NFL would actually kill off one of its Golden Geese and he hasn't even been arrested or convicted? If you do, then you are truly naive to the power of the NFL Empire.

Instead of wasting your time trying to bring someone down (these types of campaigns and petitions go unnoticed) why don't you volunteer at your local animal shelter and try to make a difference. That will surely be time that isn't wasted and will make a positive impact in your community.

It seems to me your interest is more personal against Mike Vick than it is protecting animals.

you cant ban a guy from football on charges of heresay, thats stupid. Granted he makes the worst descisions of anyone ever, but still you cant tell me that he's that bad. He needs new friends. Im not a fan at all, but still dont hate him just because ESPN does.

Yes, i am for banning him from football and sending him to Mexico where he could form the "Ron Mexico cockfighting league". All the players would have to be tested for std's under an alias and be stupid enough to throw away their lives on dumb Sh--t things!
