I disagree, you will never find more loyal fans than Patriot fans. I have had season tix from the time back when they sucked in the 80's and always a sox fan. Plus, the sox have always owned this town, so I disagree there too. Of course when you win, it brings out more people. Look at the Yankee fans. They have people who are fairweather fans. It's easy to stick with a winner. Sox fans have stuck by them since 1918.

as far as Red Sox fans go there are no more loyal fans in baseball then Red Sox fans, we live and die with that team and will always continue to do so.
Patriots fans are the most Fair wheater, i am from the area and i noticed as soon as they came out of there 40 years of crapping it up and won a superbowl every freaking person around here is a huge Pats fan, and all you hear is how great Tom Brady is, how great we are and blah blah blah. A month ago all the Pats Fans were talking how they better not get Randy Moss and how he sucks and over the hill and cant play anymore, but the second he is on there team they are in love with him like they wanted him all along, well i could rant all day about my undying hatred for the Patriots and there fans and players but i think you get the point, Pats fans are FAKE FANS!!!!

I have always been a Red Sox fan...when Buckner committed the infamous error which let the NY Mets back into the '86 World Series to when they FINALLY ended the curse against the Cardinals...and I still am...Same with the Patriots...I was a fan when they were crushed by McMahon, Payton, and the Fridge in the Super Bowl in '86, 46-10...just as now when they are the best team in the NFL with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick...I am NOT a fair weather fan...

Theres a reason in New England we call ourselves Red Sox Nation. The Sox have the biggest following of fans. When they win it effects people from Maine to Ri and everywhere in between. Every away game you always see a good amount of fans coming to support the Sox.
It's a religion around here,every game is a must win and if players cant preform then they are simply released.
If a team like the Royals wins or loses no one cares cuz its just in Kansas City. No ofense to Royals fans.

Red Sox fans? Fairweather? Trust me, as someone from near the Boston area, I can tell you it's basically a religion around here.
I'm not sure if the Pats approach that high levels, but the fan base is really good as well here, too.

I know a guy that's a Red Sox and Patriots Fan, he is loyal, but he seems to be a bigger jerk when it comes to the Red Sox or Pats than some Yankee fans I know. I told him that Tom Brady had to be taken steroids, how else he could have gotten a girl pregnant!

I love the pats and the reedsox i sat trough the long down year of the pats and i saw the 1986 series when the ball went trough buckner legs but to answers the question ya there are fair weather fans tehre always are eevrywhere people jump on the band wagon colts win alot of colts fans around florida gators nationalk title alot of gator fans around its the way the country is but there are alwaysa few die hard fans of everyteam

Truly i think the redsox fan's are the most die hard in any sport.....for 86 years fan's have stuck by their...and america's favortie team....so the answer is...no....red sox fans are a breed uncommmon to the sports world these day's

born and raised in boston and i have never stopped loving the patriots i don't care what their record is they are my team and i will stick with them, and i am still a fan of the bruins and celtics een after thier dissapointing seasons and as for the red sox i have never been in to baseball

I will be honest, New England/Boston fans are the worst in sports. I have been to Fenway several times not wearing any opposing logos and the people are still rude.
