This is another situation somewhat like the situation of the Tennessee Titans but slightly different as the Giants didn't do a whole lot to help themselves this offseason either. The only difference is that they still have a good receiving corps. But there are a couple of problems that are brewing. One is Brandon Jacobns good enought to be a featured number one runningback and two their linebacking corps is a work in progress not to mention that their secondary isn't all that good to begin with either and this should be an interesting season to say the least especially with Tom Coughlin being such a lame duck coach. This could be an 8-8 type of year. I think that they might not make the playoffs this year and then they'll fire Coughlin and start over again.

I'm an Eagles fan so I love how the Giants are falling apart. Tiki was the offense. Eli is a mediocre quarterback. I don't see how losing your biggest play maker will change that. Another divisional championship for my Birds. The play teams in the NFC are as followed:

1. Eagles
2. Saints
3. Bears
4. Seahawks
5. Cowboys
6. 49ers

It's a definite possibility.
As for Eli not being the Peyton caliber. You have got to understand that just cuz they're brothers they won't be as good as the other. Eli is his own person and it's just stupid to compare him to Peyton. It only makes him seem worse than he is.
Eli is a commited QB who works hard. If he can get consistent and really work on the fundamentals of throwing he can really be a good QB. He got another receiver in steve smith. And if you haven't heard already, Burress finally decides to show up at the minicamp after a couple of years of eli asking that of him... and Shockey is also going to be flying in later. This will give him more of a chance to work on his throws w/ his two biggest receivers. He'll have the best to practice w/ and not some inexperienced rookies or practice team WR.
I think if eli and the receivers work hard during the offseason and get in the rythm of things, they can definitely get to the playoffs. Hard to win the division but possibly as a wildcard.

No, they will be outcoached and outplayed. Their defense has no depth and lacks talent other than their defensive ends and their middle linebacker. The offense is going to fall apart without Tiki Barber. He did so much for that team and Coughlin got on his nerves so bad that he left. Brandon Jacobs and Reuben Droughns will provide a decent running game but can't replace Tiki. Without Tiki, Eli will be nothing. His wide receivers have bad attitudes and aren't willing to spend the necessary time practicing with Eli. Jeremy Shockey is going to whine and moan and never live up to his full porential.

The Eagles and the Cowboys are better teams than the Giants so the Giants have no shot at winning the division and little hopes of winning enough games for a wild card. You never know, maybe 8-8 will be good enough for a wild card in the NFC again.

No....they prolly could if they made some moves this offseason....Eli Manning hasn't gotten that groove that Peyton does.I give Eli another year.Fire Coughlin and hire a offensive guy.Tell Buress that he need to catch more balls or he out too.Their defense has moments but weren't that impressive. It would take a lot to turn around the Giants, but it is possible.

I'm going to have to say no. Linebacker is still a huge need and they have no change of pace back like Tiki. The play-off teams are gonna be:
1. Dallas Cowboys
2. New Orleans Saints
3. San Francsico 49ers
4. Chicago Bears
5. Carolina Panthers
6. Minnesota Vikings

They're falling apart as a franchise. I love it. I'm a Viking fan. The players hate Coughlin, and he hates them. Bad combination. Eli Manning sucks, also.
