Favre has better stats and won the Super Bowl without needing two All Pro wide recievers and an MVP running back, not to mention that offensive line. There is a reason Elway made all those comebacks...because he was losing a lot. Favre also has 3 MVPs.

Favre is a good QB, Elway was one of the very best ever. Elway was way better in his prime than Favre in his prime.

Under the situation you describe I'd take Elway over ANY other QB. That includes Favre, Montana, Brady, or Manning. His record speaks for itself.

i would pick favre. it took elway a long time to get their and win it. Plus elway wouldnt have won if it wasnt to davis. Favre did have great players but he did alot of the work. pluse favre won the big dance first.

Favre, i'm not a greenbay fan but i think he might be the best ever. the team he won the superbowl with was not even close to elways broncos or montana/youngs 49ers, he led a second tier team and won it all.

John Elway. He's as tough, competitive, accurate, and smart as Brett Favre ... and his arm is probably stronger. But, he's a much better athlete than Brett.
