Every NFL Team has to have a deep threat or they can't stretch the field, rendering them helpless offensively at times. Here's each team's top deep threat:

New England: Moss
Miami: Ginn is fast but he's a kick returner not a receiver
New York Jets - Coles
Buffalo - Evans

Baltimore - Maybe Mark Clayton
Cincinnati - Chad Johnson
Cleveland - Braylon Edwards
Pittsburg - Santonio Holmes

San Diego - Craig Davis
Kansas City - Dewayne Bowe
Denver - Javon Walker
Oakland - Ronald Curry

Philadelphia - Greg Lewis/Hank Baskett
Dallas - Terrell Owens
New York Giants - Amani Toomer
Washington - Santana Moss

Chicago - Bernard Berrian
Minnesota - Don't you need receivers to have a deep threat?
Detroit - Roy Willams/Calvin Johnson
Green Bay - perhaps Greg Jennings

New Orleans - Devery Henderson/Robert Meachem
Carolina - Steve Smith
Tampa Bay - Joey Galloway
Atlanta - what wide receivers? I don't count that traitor Joe Horn.

Santana Moss, Chad Johnson, Roy Williams, Terrell Owens,Torry Holt, and Marvin Harrison are some of the best out there for doing this. My personal #1 is Steve Smith. He almost sole handily sent Chicago home in the playoffs 2 years ago in Chicago because they would not double team him. The guy just has a knack of going up and coming down with the ball despite the fact he's not a really big guy with blazing speed to top it off. Pure athleticism plain and simple and scary site for a DB to line up against.

There are lots of burners in the league who catch 1-2 passes a game and every now and then break a big one, but not as many who are super fast and consistently productive. From that perspective I'd have to go with:

T.O. (Hate the player, but can't hate the game)

Ocho Cinco (He tends to dissappear for a game or three, but then he has a 2- or 3- game as good as any receiver ever)

Lee Evans (If he had a better offense around him he could put up crazy numbers. He had the highest average per catch last year of any player with more then 60 catches)

Torry Holt (Perfect confluence of his abilities and StL offensive style)

Steve Smith (How many NFL teams are built around a WR?)

Marvin Harrison (May not be super fast but darn hard to catch when the ball's in his hands and open field ahead.)

I believe that Chad Johnson is that type of player, athletic catches, speed and great hands in difficult traffic.

-Individually I think Santana Moss is the best WR to run under the ball
-Steve Smith and then Terrel Owens are best after the catch, Smith elusive and Owens power.
-Marvin Harrison and Ocho have great hands
-Torry Holt and Fitzgerald run great routes
-Reggie Wayne and Whoseyourmama sit in zones and find openings very well.
