His first few years he was pretty much a positive for the NFL. Young Black male who was keeping his nose clean and was not causing trouble. In college he had no real history of character problems now the past two years he seemed to take a nose dive. The weed in the water bottle thing dog fights. Is his brother marcus bringing him down?

Maybe, but according to reports the dog fights were related to the previous owner of the house he had owned. Part of his real problem was giving marcus all of the expensive stuff that he(marcus) had when he was thrown out of virginia tech. If michael had been a better example or at least taught marcus proper values then most of marcus' problems might have never happened.

wow....that's a lot of Caps Lock...

annoying

anyways....I think it's probably the people he surrounds himself with....i doubt that Marcus has anything to do with bringing him down unless he's the one hooking up Michael with his friends
this last thing with the dogs....nobody anywhere is accusing him of being invloved with that other than owning and letting these idiots hang out in that house.

That right there says volumes....he lets idiots screw up his world.

Obviously he's being himself though in wanting to hang out with these people.....but I don't want to start getting into personality/psychological issues......as with the Vick family it's going to take a while to cover everything.

You used the phrases "keeping nose clean" and " nose dive". The nose can lead to problems in life that weren't there previously. I am not suggesting that Michael Vick is doing anything illegal (up his nose) but when you see such a drastic turn around in behavior something might be amiss.

He just didn't make mistakes back then. He is still the same person now as he was then. I think the Falcons organization was playing a big game of coverup. He needs to be dealt with....these punks need to be stopped in every sport, not just football.

Greed and the thought he was a super star so what could possibly happen to him? Now I ask you what were the coaches thinking when they let the better quarterback go...

Vick has never been a team player. He has always been an idiot, it is just that he now has regressed to illegal things.

I think he's starting to think of himself as so indespensible to the Falcons (after Schaub was traded) that he he's pushing the envelope of acceptable behaivor.
