We've got a 1000yrd rusher. Just shored up our defense with signings of Clements and Lewis. And just picked up a talented wide receiver (Lelie) while dropping a troubled one. With Alex Smith making the strides he did last year, I think the Niners are going to win the division nextyear. Who's with me?

Did you know that Bill Gramatica (ex-kicker in the NFL, brother Martin) kicked the game winning score and did a victory dance. While he did this, he tore his ACL and was out for the season. Now he is a free agent that probably will never get signed.

I heard the Pats gave Stallworth an offer today but hes still visiting in Tennesse and Miami. Am I waisting my time thinking that this guy might be a Patriot or is this a good chance?

Do the patriots really think that bringing in Wes Welker will solve their reciever problems and help out Brady. I know that if I was a qb and someone told me that we just signed Wes Welker I wouldnt exactly be jumping for joy. I know hes done some good things for miami, but I just keeping thinking about how poorley our Wrs performed in the playoffs and I really dont see Welker changing that at all. I think AT BEST hes as good as Reche Caldwell.

I think they have another 2 or 3 years of being Superbowl contenders, before they have to overhaul.

Joey Porter being cut from Pittsburgh and signing with Miami
Thomas Jones being traded from Chicago to N.Y. Jets
Randy McMichael being cut from Miami (not yet signed)
Ahman Green being traded to Houston from Green Bay
Jeff Garcia not being resigned to Philadelphia

I understand, most of these moves HAD to be made whether it be salary cap or team chemistry. But which will hurt their former team the most?
