I think they definitely have a legitimate shot at it. Especially since they just signed Patrick Kerney. If they stay healthy they have a good offense behind Hasselbeck, Alexander and Branch. And their defense is decent with Kerney shoring up the d-line. Their linebackers and secondary is definitely Super Bowl caliber. All in all, I think they can get there again. Good luck beating the AFC though. NFC has been weak these past couple years.

Despite all the injuries and inconsistency, the Seahawks just missed advancing to the NFC title game. They'll be the team to beat in the NFC West and one to be reconed with in the playoffs. The defense allowed too many long TDs and 100-yd rushing performances, so the club needs to find a FS with better coverage skills and a wide-bodied run-stuffing tackle. Since they don't have a 1st round draft choice, they will address these areas later in the draft and through free agency. Like you say though, they should be contenders for years to come!

pretty optimistic in my opinion. i say 1 to 2 more years of being contenders before they fall behind. they are not really making any strides in improving, now look at their rivals, the rams and cardinals are making alot of moves to get young good people, and the 49ers are making a TON of improvments. the Seahawks can only really re-sign their players, and most of them are in their prime so there really is not much in an improvment factor. and last season they lost to the niners 2 times, whereas the year before and the year before that they just owned the NFC west. now they barely beat the Rams two times, and lost completely to the niners. unless they begin to fix up their team for the future, the Seahawks are going to be out of Superbowl contention soon

I dont think so... They are on there way down, i would not be suprised if the 49ers win the NFC West this year. They have made good free agent moves, they have alot of draft picks and alot of money under the cap. Frank Gore is a great RB, Alex Smith showed promise and Vernan Davis is a great go to TE. Im not a 49ers fan but thats my pick for Team that comes out of no-where this year....

They are a SB contender, but than again every team is at this point in time. They have a good wr core (I really liked Nate when he was here in Minny). Good RB and Decent QB, the OL needs a little help but not much and they bolstered the Defense with the recent signing. It will be interesting to watch.

i think they can make the super bowl with the team they have, but also they were inconsistent last season and lost games they definitely should have won...if they can't fix that then they won't even win their own division...however this team has enough talent on both sides of the ball to get back to the super bowl

They are doing a lot in free agency and the NFC is weak so they have a good chance of making it but they'll lose to what ever AFC team goes against them

Definately!! they have a great cast of players and if they can all stay healthy, then they will probably walk through the weak NFC. come on they were missing hasselbeck and alexander for alot of the season last year and they still made the playoffs and they should have probably went farther. but the bears got lucky.
