Why does it always end up this way,
Is it because we are no good, or is it
just bad luck, or bad management,
or not enough practise and to much
late night enjoyment.
And finally should we give up cricket
for the sake of embarrassment.

Absolutely stunning! The delicated English Roses were crushed by the South African Lions! I couldn't have asked for a better victory - England were whipped in every sense of the word - outbowled and outbatted...vanquished by ruthless Hall! The best moment had to be Pieterson getting caught by his nemisis Smith - genius! I wonder if he's thinking about a career move right now...LOL! Need any help with those bags, Mr Vaughan?

I admit I had my doubts about SA but they really restored my faith in them and made me proud to be South African!! I don't usually like to gloat over a victory like this but after all the harsh and uncalled for criticism SA has been getting from everyone...I hope the smile will be wiped off their faces right now! I'm not bothered if SA don't get beyond the semis but after the extremem arrogance and insults from the English, when it really mattered, South Africa proved that they can win...and win convincingly! They did us proud today!

would we see better performances from our teams if the cricketers played the football and the footballers played the cricket?

You might call it a coincedence but for the past 4 world cups
we have an Asian team playing in the finals and winning it twice ( pakistan in 92 and sri lanka in 96) and also for the past 2 world cups asian teams played in the finals of the againsts Ozzies and none of them were able to topple mighty Ozzies and it is possible that another asian team will play in final against possibly Ozz-tralia and will try to topple the kings of cricket
This Asian is probably by far the best, and the strongest team compared to its other 3 asian counterparts
so the question is if Sri Lanka does play against Australia then what are the chances that Sri Lanka will win
considering that Sri Lanka is way better then other south Asian teams

When England practise, English bowlers bowl to English batsmen. Bowlers do ok in the nets, and batsmen do ok in the nets. Then they have to play in the real world in competative international matches against true internationals. My question is this:- If England had batsmen good enough to face true international bowlers, and if England had bowlers good enough to bowl to true international batsmen, then would we have a chance of winning of the world cup. Please say yes, lol.

After witnessing another disappointing performance against SA today, England will be heading back home . The world cup has been a complete disaster for England. What changes would you recommend for English Cricket to get back to its best?

In yesterdays game Aus vs SL and in the NZ and SL ,Umpire Billy Doctrove clearly supported Aussies and Kiwis.
Sangakkara one of the best bataman In SL team was clearly not out,he was given LBW and that put Sri Lanka in to a big trouble.

I think most of the umpires are partial and they do not like a subcontinental team to win the WorldCup.

In the time between overs, and the drinks break there are some commercials. A few of them are so disgusting that it is difficult to watch with your children, or friends, or relatives. I do not know if some of my brothers and sisters agree with me, but I would like to highlight two of these commercials.

In one (Motorola)Abhishek’s wife says that she is carrying not his child but that of his friend's. What’s the point??

In another, (Kingfisher) two people in a toilet are having conversation on 'hula la!la!' while urinating.

If these companies want to market their products, do they not have any better ideas, than these perverse tactics?
