The problem as I see it with English sport is that it lacks passion. Just watch the Aussies if they loose a game or series. They come out the next time as a team determined to win (and with the firm belief that they will do so). Also if one player has a bad day in the game the other players rally around them to pick up the slack. There is also a massive contest just to get into the side. It is the most proudest acheivement for an Australian to represent their country at a international level. That goes for any sport. Hence why even Aussie Rules now play against Ireland in a modified version of the game. This is also why the Socceroos were so determined to beat England in their friendly game. Englands excuse of it was only a friendly would not hold water in Australia as every match played in the national colours is a match of pride.
England needs to get this pride and determination back into it's game, as a team and as individuals, before they can ever be regulaly successful. That is for all the teams; cricket, rugby, football.

i imagine that's huge open - Pakistan seem more advantageous now than they have for a lengthy time period, India have an staggering threat on domicile pitches, England have extremely some self assurance, Australia have sturdy in some unspecified time sooner or later gamers no matter if their try crew is undesirable, NZ and SA have some gamers that would win difficult matches for you. this would nicely be the most suitable WC for your time, i imagine the crew that wins it is going to likely be the single which has the right technique. you want some slow bowlers to slow the scoring and take the %. off the ball, and contained in the seam branch bowlers who can opposite and swing the ball.

Well, can't say, really. Who knows how strong the team will be 4 years from now?
The reason for the team's bad run is a combination of bad luck, bad management, and lack of talent.
No, I don't think that England should give up cricket because they lost here.

England has the chances to win Cricket WC but what`s lacking is the lack of good practice. Remember England won Fifa World cup only once thx to their hard work which was missing in previous years.

Not while Vaughan is captain. I`ve just been watching the England Bankers play S Africa. P.S. sorry for the bad spelling. Sack the selectors. Sack the captain. Sack the persistently poor performers in the one day game. Install rigid behavior rules while on tour. Ban the WAGS. Train hard! Live the life of an athlete instead of a piss artist.

Generally, for what ever reason, we aren't as good as other teams, but one day I should think we may have a team capable of winning the world cup.
I say once, I don't think that we will ever be as consistent as Aussies but it would be like Rugby, one good crop of players who are the best in the world at the time of the world cup.

No one should become so much emotional when their team loose a match. After all in any game win or loss is the rule of the game. Unless one side loose other side cannot win. Instead of thinking about what has already happened, one should be optimistic about tomorrow.

it's the same as the football players they never seem to step to the challenge when they have to . so I don't think they will ever win the world cup unless the English attitude changes

Will hell freeze over? We shall never give up, stiff upper lip and all that. Maybe we need a better management to give strong leadership. That and some decent players.
