He really is annoying to me and I think the team he leads has a history of bad behaviour, think about the number of times you've heard them apologising for offending someone, on or off the cricket field.
After the game with Sri Lanka, his words just pissed me off, the tone he used was appalling..."I don't care why they rested some players" "It doesn't worry me one bit" "They've got to bounce back from what we've done to them, but that's for them to worry about, not us."....just freaking annoying. I can't wait for them to be "shut up" big time by the Sri Lankan team.

So they brag
Let the ral cricket spirit of the deserved winner claim the world cup.
& he is a nice enough little gentleman
who knows about "Auto pilot"
cuz he is not the real pilot
Heyden is the top order real pilot
if, Hayden out for a semi or final,
Ponting can not brag more

Well truth be told he's well entitled to brag at this stage, Australia has totally dominated the World Cup thus far, there was a glimmer of hope for SA in our match against them for a while but in the end the just hammered us into submission.
At this stage they are the best in the world, so I suppose they can brag all they want.

So what if Ponting wants to brag..hes got every right , dont you think, like any captain of a team. Some of you ppl here are just sorry losers. Those are his opinions..some i dont agree with, just give him a break, and stop whining. Anyone can win this world cup. So lighten up guys.

Till now Australia have dominated this world cup. No one knows at this stage whether this dominance will continue till they win the world cup or will end at the semi final stage.

He really can be annoying at times, cant he? I mean, cricket is a Gentleman's sport so behave like a gentleman and stop bragging! Its jus killing the spirit, not nice...I think he tries sometimes, tho....sometimes...a few times...

lol yeah - this "president Bush" lookalike can get pretty annoying at times, but hey - the aussies have worked/played hard and have so far defeated all that have come b4 them, so yeah ...that entitles them to a bit of bragging rights...well at least until the WC winner is decided - but i have to admit, theyre lookin pretty formidable at the momment...

Me! Including McGrath and Hayden. They are the most annoying lot in the team.Its their way of upsetting others who they think are a threat to them.
