after the embarrassing show at the world cup?

I think the Pommies are missing their 'mojo'. In other words, they need to start winning again. It seems like they forgot how to win and be consistent at it. Surly they are missing players like Jones, Harmison and Hoggard. As you know, cricket is more of a mental game and if you look at this current English lineup you will see a bunch of talented guys. They just need to put a couple of consecutive wins together and their 'mojo' will return!

For now...enjoy the the remaining games, tell Freddie to stay off the boats and prepare for your home series against the West Indies this summer and it will all come back again!

Simple, england can't bat and can't bowl! in ODI's...and here's the evidence!

After 2 overs England 0/0
After 2 overs South Africa 17/0.

England out of the world cup, every performance was dismal!!! even against burmuda. You're local club would have done a better job.

Aftet 7 Overs England 9/0
After 7 Overs South Africa 68/0.

Sack the selectors. Sack Vaughan. Thats a start. Strict discipline on tour. No WAGS on tour. No alchohol during the competition. Make them work for their high wages. Fitness, and lots of practice. Will anyone be going to the airport to cheer the England bankers home. I dont think so. P.S. Sorry for the poor spelling.

bell and vaughan out- they just dont seem to know how to play one day cricket

bring in an opener who scores quickly at the start alongside strauss (or trescothick if he can get his mind straight). Bopara up the order ahead of freddie- not sure you can class freddie as an all-rounder the way he is playing at the moment

Saj out of the bowling attack aswell- far too inconsistent. bring plunkett or someone in(still say we should have had gough for the world cup)

changes at the top needed as well, maybe bringing in a sepcialist one-day coach, as england just dont seem to know how to play and score too slowly, dont attack powerplays etc

We need openers that can score for a start. I would have tried moving freddie or bopara up to open in this game and moved Vaughan down the order. when the openers consistently fail it puts so much pressure on the rest of the team.

england need to accept the fact that despite his un doubted talent as a captain vaughan isnt a one day batsman! altering the openers around him just defeated the object he cant open its that simple, why didnt they try joyce and strauss together ? both middesex players understanding each others game. england just dont approach games like the other nations do time to change coach and take vaughan out of the top of the order

It is upto ECB to review the performance of the team and and take corrective action to improve the performance of the team in future. Let us leave it upto them.
