At present in cricket, India's performance is not good. Even in any series, that India won is not completely clean sweeped just like Australia. If Australia plays, it wins the series by 3-0 or 5-0 or 7-0 what ever it may be. WC-2007 is a good example for this.
But about India, it wins the series by 3-2 or 2-1 or 6-5 etc.
My question is , why India is not able to play like Australia in cricket? why the Indian fans are satisfying with Indian player's performance?

Also tell the cricket match you saw first.
The first match i saw was India v/s Sri Lanka in Chennai(not sure about venue) in 1999. There was a big partnership between Ganguly & Dravid in that match & India won but the match that made me a serious cricket fan & i wish if i had never watch that match because since then i have been watching cricket a hell of a lot , was India v/s Sri Lanka in 99 WC. I saw allmost all matches of that world cup. It was Ganguly's 183 run innings that amazed me & easily hooked me as a cricket lover.

If Lankans still believe that i have posted this to remind them of these matches then i must say that it's not the case.
Because the match which hurted me as a cricket was also against Lanka at Sharjah when India was bowled out for 54.

So tell me your first match.
The match that made you a cricket fan. &
The match which disappointed you the most.

I hope, i'll get +ve response.

I remember 3 times in the past.

1. In 2003 World Cup in South Africa, Australia were tottering at 138/8 chasing 205 runs against England. Bevan and Bichel rescued them to 208/8 to win the match.
2. In 2004 Champions Trophy in England, West Indies were tottering at 147/8 chasing 216 runs. Brown and Bradshaw rescued them to 218/8 to win the match.
3. Recently, in an ODI between India and England, England were tottering at 113/7 chasing 212 runs. Bopara and Broad rescued them to 213/7 to win the match.

Moreover, in all three cases, one batsman was a right hander and the other was a left hander.

Dont you see any coincidence in this?

The resume for Mohammed Kaif makes a good reading as far as his captaincy goes chronologically backward...
1. Selected to captian India A against South Africa A this september
2. Was the successful captain of India A in twin tour to Zimbabwe and Kenya. Beat Srilanka A in Final scored a good 50+ at run a ball. Was second highest scorer in the tournament inspite of not batting one innings
3. Leads the zonal team
4. Lead UP to Ranji trophy success beating teams like Punjab, Mumbai and Bengal
5. Lead India Seniors after issue between Chappel and Ganguly , stalwarts like Sachin, Yuvi,Shewag etc played under him. Also the start of his bad time started then being shunted up and down the order was eventually dropped after an unsuccessful South Africa campaign where all batsmen failed in ODI's.
Excluded from World cup team
6. Cricinfo stats by S Rajesh show him as the most successful batsman from 2005-2006 in difficult tours. Ref: The real culprits April 4 2007 article in Cricinfo.

They both only cost 1 run so what does it matter is the ball has struck a leg or not.

Oh, by the way, what's the difference between leg side and on side. I know where the off-side is but is the opposite side called the on or the leg side? If they're the same why have two terms?
Is an on drive the same as a leg drive?
Is a leg break the same as an on-break?
