They have the pace bowlers which can put any batting line up in trouble.

Their batting line -up has chased 434 in odi's & is very well balanced.

They are great in fielding department.

So, the only thing that they lack is a world class spin bowler. A bowler like Shane Warne,Kumble,Saqlain etc.
The new guy Harris is doing a good job but he is still inexperienced.

They need to find a regular spin bowler who can win them matches on his own.
Then & only then they can seriously challenge Australia.

New Zealand need to find some solid batsmen,there batsmen are unable to play well in pressure situations.

Lol, India,Pak are great but we are so damn inconsistent.
We need to improve our fielding & running betwen wickets.

The picthes on Australia are bouncy so the tall guy like V.R.V can make good use of the that.
Also he hits the deck hard.

I am sure that Pathan will struggle in Australia bcz of lack of pace (at least in test cric, though i hope not).

R.P boy is a fine swing bowler, Anil will be our frontline spinner.

So my 7 bowlers for down under series would be -

* Brother Jumbo
*Zaheer Khan
*R.P.Singh
*V.R.V Singh
*Harbhajan
*Murali Karthik
*Sreesanth

****Note - If the plan is to play with 5 bowlers then i will also pick Pathan boy as an allrounder.

My regular 4 for the first test at BOUNCY PERTH -
*V.R.V Singh (front line attack bowler)
*Zaheer Khan ( He will share the new ball)
*R.P Singh
*Brother Jumbo

On the SPINNING SYDNEY WICKET -
*V.R.V
*Zaheer
*R.P
*Brother Jumbo
*Karthik/Harbhajan
(2 spinners will do the job at sydney)

******V.R.V should be used as our 'Trump card' against the Aussie tall batsmen ;like Hayden,Symo.

V.R.V should bowl body line (lol)

just imagine 3 different set of Indian team of 15 members each it will give plenty of opportunity for youngsters and old players, why dont selectors segregate and provide level playing field, it is sad to hear cricketers committing suicide because they have not been given chance to represent state or Indian team. Even states should have 3 different sets of team so the net becomes wide open for talent.

I unable understand one thing from our beloved fans. I pray for them. They will seen lot of Indian team victories in near future. Because I am always says something with cricketing brain. Dravid was dropped due to out of form only. There is no doubt, He will be in the test squad all the time. Fans showing this kind of support. I am really surprised with these answers. I am always praising mcgrath & ricky ponting for excellent acheivement. But now I change my mind, DRAVID IS THE BEST. I give lot of respect to you fans hereafter. But atlast I say one thing to you all. TEAM VICTORY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY PLAYERS. your answers is 100% correct. Some of our fans asked why you are not dropping sachin, shewag & ganguly, they are also in out of form. Yes you are 100% correct. It is time for chairman of selector (vengsarkar sir) to answer. This is called selection politics in Indian cricket. That's why we are not world champion in odi and test cricket for the past 50 years.

Does the BCCI selectors actually have a selection policy, or do they pick team out of sheer madness ?
RanadeebBose,IshantSharma,PiyushChawla,ManojTiwary,Badrinath ,Joginder sharma,Yusuf pathan were all picked up in team and never got to play, but they dont figure in the current team.Piysuh Chawla was a revelation in the Eng Tour,but is not in team now.Shewag is back ,even after not so good T20 Twenty, but because of his past record against PAK, we actually have 5 Openers for the ODI series against PAK(ganguly,sachin,shewag,gambhir,uthappa).

These guys have been playing without any break for the last 4-5 months & their future tours are against top teams.

Why is BCCI so damn greedy?

It is really strange that BCCI do not able to get rid of SAHAWAG. HE was the main cause of routing india out of 2007 world cup and against indian crecit board selected him on basis of one good inning.

I have question to my dear freinds why not the board look for alternet to him. There are many is indian cricket who can easily take place of him and that too handsomely
