In my view, dravid is one of the best performers. He should be given more chance.

ya,when losers like ganguly and sehwag are given endless no. of chances,a world class player like Dravid should definitely be given one more chance at least.....

Irrespective of his poor performance against Australia, Rahul dravid is a very good batsman and capable of taking the team out of trouble in tight situation. It was, therefore, quite unfair to drop him based on few bad performances. I strongly feel that if he is given a permanent batting slot of no. 3 just like Ponting in Australian team, he will defenitely perform better.

The main reason for Dravid's removal was that he did not score runs and performed during the last five or six matches to the full satisfaction of the selection committee of the BCCI.
It is the selectors decision & no other person can do anything with it. The selection committee decision is final & even the President of BCCI cannot do anything.

for the fact that he wasn't in form although his record says that he is a difficult player
also ,he had to prepare for the tri-series against aussies and Sri lankans
