For some reason they are still not performing as well as they can - could be they are not tough enough to withstand the pressure. They are not as ruthless as the Aussies, so they are beaten by nerves.

Would still like to see them beat SA - I think Graham Smith is an arrogant captain - but I'm not optimistic. Even so, apart from the Woolmer tragedy, I've enjoyed the tournament very much.

England are struggling at 142 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 43.3 overs and almost sure of loosing to South Africa and getting eliminated from the World Cup.
