Make no mistake about it. It will be Aussies all the way. They have won about 21 matches on the trot in the world cup. They are an invincible side at present with the right blend of consistent batting line-up and an aggressive bowling attack with a lot of all-rounders. They have a psychological advantage over all the other teams and this takes them past the opponents very easily. They have not even had a tough match so far in the entire world cup 2007. So, it will certainly be the kangaroos who will romp home with the world cup for the third time in a row and 4th time overall !!!

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties as has been proved on number of occasions, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance.

While Australia are the only unbeaten team in the present world cup and as such hot favourites to win the cup, I strongly feel that their run of victories will end in the semi finals and South Africa will win the world cup.

Before the World Cup began I was for Sri Lanka. I still expect to come on top them for the reason that they do not play for records, and never care about thier own achievements. My belief has been reinforced now that they rested Murali and Vaas not caring that they could finish on top of bowling list. Australia will not find it easy to get away with these two, if and when these two teams meet for the Final.

Australia is playing very good and they beat SLANKA. Sri Lanka was not at their best becoz of Malinga, Murli and Vaas .
This was a good plan by Slanka. They know that, they can not be number 1 so want to stay 2 or 3. In that case, they will not face Aus in Semi Final. Sometimes Loosing is good tactics. NOW the batsmen of Slanka had experience in WC against Aus but AUs batsmen still have to face Murli, Vaas or Malinga.

Regarding 2007 cricket world cup.
They are in a good shape.They have flair & talent.

Now most immportantly they hanve rekindled their ability to win in alien ,overseas conditions.

Muralitharan,Vass,Malinga & Dilhara.. is just outstanding. And most importantly, they play as a team and not as individuals.
