England is a good side but they arent just playing good they just have been totaly trashed by south africa in all departments does it tellyou if english/batsmen/bowlers are capable to perform against top international players? England should change their managment Vaughn should be kicked and they should let Strauss play regularly. If the managment changes they have a chance to win the next world cup

ok well pieterson is thw worlds best one day batsman, though frankly on the england performance i am currently watching you wouldnt guess it. so in theory we do have a world class batsmen for the bowlers to to practice but the problem is that the coaching is all wrong! we need to have a change at the top for some fresh ideas, players that were capable of putting on the performance of 2005 ashes series dont suddenley become rubbish, too many are under performing i dont believe that the whole team has suddenly lost form, its a coaching problem, we approach games like the other international cricket nations do.

how much are the players fired up in the nets? do the bowlers bowl to their top potential as if they are playing a game? If not, then how can the batsmen practise against true bowling?

LOL !!
Yes !!
If England could cover up these soo many "IFs"..then why not !! but the team who does not have that many "IFs' in their team is known as Australia these days !! But Good luck to england........England is also kind of unlucky team....they qualified twice for world cup final previously and could not make it even once. What a pitty !!!.......but today's england team didn't deserve to be the champion...as you know there are far better teams this time and everyone is best for one or other reason ! So Better Luck Next Time !

England will never win the world cup as long as we let the foreigners come over here to play cricket, the counties relie on foreigners and so we are left with the dross to represent England.

We are the second best Test Team in the world.
We don't need ODI cricket right now.
We have another 4 years till the next world cup. Chances are Bangladesh will win that one.
