Steve Nash is the most overrated player in the NBA. To get one mvp he was really lucky. The second one was absurd. And now the talks of a third one, is simply showing the NBA is headed to...nowhere. To put in the ranks of Bird and Magic with 2-3 MVPs is ridiculous. He doesn't have a all around game, he can't defend and he hasn't even started in an allstar game. To win 2 MVPs and possibly 3, without a championship is really amazing. To put him ahead of K. Malone, C. Barkley in terms of MVPs, does that make sense? Do people actually think he was greater than them? How about John Stockon? He was much more of an all around player than Nash would and ever will be.

I'm not hating on the man. Yes, he's pretty good, real good court vision, and a definite leader, and he deserved one mvp. But 2? and all this hype?

3 Tennessee colleges are in the sweet sixteen
all 3 have scoring rankings that tops in the nation

I personally think that he should go pro. He is a man among boys. I have been watching some of his games, and feel that he has done all that he could possibly do on the college level(minus a championship). After watching Durant in the Texas-USC game, I felt that Rick Barnes should be ashamed of himself. He arguably has the best player in the country, and he couldn't help the Longhorns reach the Final Four much less the Sweet Sixteen. Time would be wasted at UT-A because if you argue education, that's wrong because he is only taking one class to play on the team anyways. I personally would take the 30-40 million+ dollar deal with Nike, and the guaranteed $15 million from the rookie contract than return to a college. What do you all think?

If spud webb could do it at 5'6..then why can't I?

There are lot of people out here that watch women's bball and a lot of girls that follow the game, aspiring to get scholarships and make something of themselves. Why isn't this sport to be respected as much as the men's game? Every year, the games become more prominent on the t.v. listings and yet many people still say that it isn't valid. Why is that?

Plain and simple. UK is +35 wins (as of 3/19/07) over UNC as of right now. Do you think with the state of both programs UNC will take over the #1 spot with in the next few years?

Who should unlv be worried about on Oregon's team and what does unlv need to do to win the game? What is Oregon's game based mostly on? Defense? Offense?

FLORIDA was exposed by weak Purdue and will be fueled by pride, but they need to play better.

UNC is tough with TYLER HANSBROUGH a force. And with Ty Lawson pulling the strings, the Heels are going to be real tough.

OHIO STATE will emerge stronger after being taken to the wire by Xavier in OT. If there were any doubters about the strength of their lineup, it should have been laid to rest in OT.

VANDERBILT, TENNESSEE and MEMPHIS all roll in from the same state. I like Memphis from these, but they are too much of a mystery against top teams to bet on.

GEORGETOWN quietly moves along and should continue against Vandy.

TEXAS A&M is all about Acie Law. As long as he is on court, the Aggies will threaten to win.

SOUTHERN ILLINOIS is a sleeper. With 4 seniors and a solid coach in Chris Lowery, they join UNLV as darkhorses. Ditto USC & BUTLER.

Give Howland's UCLA the nod over Pittsburgh on experience.

KANSAS and OREGON are as good as anyone.

Your call?

if you are a sonics fan you probably know that shawn kemp and desmond mason were the best dunkers although chris wilcox also has some explosive dunks.mason won the dunk trophy in 2001,but before him there was kemp and while kemp didnt win the dunk title he still had great dunks.ive seen a lot of players dunk, but kemps dunks stand out.my favorite one was when he dunked over antoine carr vs the jazz in the western conference finals in 1996, and later that year when he dunked in the nba finals and landed on dennis rodman.what are your favorite kemp dunks if you can remember?only answer if you have a good memory.wouldnt you agree that shawn kemp was one of the best dunkers of all time?
