I have 49pts. on my best sheet and I'm missing two teams for my final eight (final four is intact). I have three different brackets, 44pts. and 42pts. on the other two). I know some people like to fill out only one sheet (same picks for all) when entering multiple pools, but I'm only in one pool so I figured what the heck.
My final four is, on my best sheet is boring, and safe all #1 seeds, (FL, KA, NC, and OH State) w/ FL beating OH 80-77.

My other two final fours are:
44 pt. sheet, FL, KA, Marquette and OH State, w/ OH beating KA 74-68 (missing (2) 8's and (1) 4).

42 pt. sheet, FL, UCLA, NC and OH State, w/ FL beating NC 80-72 (missing (3) 8's).

After 48 games, how is your bracket looking? Lots of scratches or not?

On my side, it's looking so-so. In the 1st round, I got 7 wrong (Arizona, Georgia Tech, Villanova, Duke, Gonzaga, Creighton, Texas Tech.) but only one (Duke) followed me into the 2nd round.

In the 2nd round, I got 5 wrong (Wisconsion, Virginia Tech, Duke, Texas, Washington State), NONE following me into the next round.

So, out of 32 games in the 1st round, I had 25 right and 11 out of 16 in the 2nd round.

What about you?

This is probably physically impossible now, but maybe it won't be in the future:

Suppose the basketball team recruited the school's best long jumper. If he were to take off from behind the three point line, and while in the air receive a pass and complete the alley-oop, would that basket be worth three points?

I saw the Tennessee vs Virginia game Sunday and it had to be the worst. The worst no-call of the year was Cain (Virginia) hanging on the rim to pull himself back into position and block (foul) childress' shot. First, its a technical anytime someone grabs the rim while playing D, and second, it should have been defensive goaltending b/c Childress was shooting while Cain was on the rim.
Another no-call was the Oden push at the baseline toward the end of regulation in the OSU/Xavier game. I thought that you had to make an attempt at the ball in a situation like that. There was no attempt for the ball, just a blatant shove to the ground. That call gave OSU the game.

Is this a 1 / 64! or 1 / 65! (factorial) question or is it 1 / 2^64 or 65? My math days were so long ago... What does this translate to in odds (i.e. XXXXX to 1)? What is this in comparison to getting struck by lightning or winning the lotto?

i have to do a 3 part warm up that includes a ball
then i have to do a skills section,
and after that i have to implement the skills into some sort of game.

My eyes are definitely on the Florida Gators and Ohio State Buckeyes. Ohio State has a monster in Greg Oden, Florida has almost the entire cast from last year trying to do a repeat, and both teams have taken care of business so far. Or do you think that some other team is going to win it all?

He has won one national championship at Kentucky; but Rick Pitino recruited that team.

Tubby Smith can not attract white blue-chip players. He is also not able to recruit players who can play in the SEC.

His teams do not fit the Kentucky mold. His style of coaching would be better accepted at South Carolina State or University of Georgia where good is acceptable. At a college like Kentucky, he is coaching way out of his league.

I mean, why is it that you see so many Kobe-Lovers on here trying to convince everyone he's the best? If they are so sure of him why do they care what anyone else thinks? They say 'Kobe-Haters' are obsessed with hating Kobe, but every time I read Basketball questions on here all I see are a bunch of kids defending Kobe and giving all these reasons for why he is better than MJ, or whatever. They kinda remind me of some of those religious groups, if you know what I mean...trying to get everyone else to think like they do. Why do they care? Doesn't sound like they are very secure to me.

Do you think people are scared to admit that Kobe Bryant is better than MJ and make up bogus excuses for why he is not the best to hide the truth? YOU ALL KNOW KOBE IS 10X BETTER THAN MJ. DO YOU REMEMBER THAT TIME WHEN KOBE WAS A ROOKIE AND DROPPED 33 AGAINST MJ WHO WAS A VETERAN WHO SCORED 36? KOBE IS A BEAST.

65 points last game, 50 points today, 81 points last season, the NBA's leading scorer, and has 3 rings. This man is amazing. What else does he have to do to prove he is 10x better than Michael? He makes people ask, "Michael who?"

I hear this will be the deepest NBA draft class ever. Will it be first or second round pick for these 2 stars ?
Both Aaron Afflalo and Nick Young can play defense and make shots. Who would you pick first ?
