I mean, why is it that you see so many Kobe-Lovers on here trying to convince everyone he's the best? If they are so sure of him why do they care what anyone else thinks? They say 'Kobe-Haters' are obsessed with hating Kobe, but every time I read Basketball questions on here all I see are a bunch of kids defending Kobe and giving all these reasons for why he is better than MJ, or whatever. They kinda remind me of some of those religious groups, if you know what I mean...trying to get everyone else to think like they do. Why do they care? Doesn't sound like they are very secure to me.

I think the low-class trash people likes him. MJ was one of the greatest, along with Kareem, Larry Bird, and many other quality citizens of the sport. Kobe is not ever going to be in the greatest category; he will be remembered for the rape of a woman who did not have money to win her case. That means basketball is king; but not Kobe. He is low-class trash.

The only thing I can figure is that it's a bunch of kids talking about what they see, and all they've probably seen is Kobe. Or maybe they're just some ignorant folks or in denial. I don't know, whoever they are they should just check the facts. Jordan has done more than Kobe will probably ever even sniff at, but ya' know what...I won't go into detail, been there done that. These Kobe fanatics just have to do there research and come to the realization that Kobe is a great great player, but remember that Michael Jordan is an all century type of athlete i.e. Ruth, Ali, Gretzky. He transcends the realm of sports.

I don't get it either. He's not anywhere close to Jordan. MJ spread the ball around and still scored 40 or 50 points per game. I saw in the paper that Kobe shot the ball 35 times. That was three times the next shot total of 12 by Lamar Odom. MJ never had to shoot the ball that much. Kobe is an arrogant, selfish ball hog. I'm surprised his teammates aren't getting mad about never getting the ball. Anybody could score 50 points if they shot the ball 35 times. Not even Allen Iverson shot the ball that much when he was with the Sixers. The Lakers will never win in the playoffs against a team that can stop Kobe.

Who knows why they do it. They are probably very obsessed which is kind of scary. They are probably rejected lovers or kobe stalkers that feel the need to make everyone love kobe like they do. MJ definitely didnt need people to constantly preach how great he was because everyone just knew how great he was.

They're obsessed because he is good on paper. They like to pull up the whoe Kobe scored 82 argument vs. Jordan's career high of 69. Jordan has six rings, thats all that matters at the end of the day. Jordan performs when it counts, when its on the line. I don't get the Kobe lovers, but that doesn't mean that I'm a Kobe hater. Bryant is the most talented player in todays game and he'll probably eclipse Jordan statistically, but he is not clutch when the big one is on the line like Jordan.

I guess I will be the only Kobe "lover " to answer....it's simple really....it comes down to the most basic human instinct....
......."survival".......this basic instinct whether you know or not is the reason for everything we do!.....all religion is ...is a group of people with a goal!..(same as a "Team") when one group interfere's with another group's goal....well then you have a WAR!...in this case a basketball game!.....sport is a conductor of the most important instinct we have...(survival)..

the word "Fan"..is short for "Fanatic"..- .
1)One who holds extreme views or advocates extreme measures.

2) One zealously devoted to a religion

If you can understand your instinct for survival you will understand WAR!...and sports.....and every other thing you do!.........................Why are Kobe fans obsessed?......because we are "FANS"........or fanatics....

were just having a good conversation about B-Ball, after all it's just a game!!
call me what you will......but never call me a liar.....hope I answered your ?....

Yeah, they do that all the time, because they have not been able to prove anything since Shaq left. However, I do have to say that he improved a lot since last year. But Luke Walton is still the most important player on the Lakers (look at how much Lakers stink after his injury).

We are obsessed because we have to defend him all the time from Kobe haters. Also because he is an awesome player that we get to watch every game. Go Lakers!!

The mothers of Kobe haters are broke and was raised by dogs. They have suffered BELOW the poverty line. Show them love because they need help. It's ok, I understand you guys. Who listens to pieces of S-H-I-T, anyway?
