Brandon Roy. The Raptors should have taken him #1 last year when they had the chance, he would have fit in nicely and now they could really use him in the playoffs. He has proven he was the most NBA ready rookie this year and he should easily win
Rookie
Of the
Year

His name is a sign.

Seems clear that Roy will be the Rookie of the year as he has starter minutes and played quite well and consistent comparing to the other rookies.

Brandon Roy. The most consistent rookie, he leads all rookies in minutes (34.4), points (15.9) and assists (4.0) and also averages 4 rebounds a game and a steal a game.

a diffuclut quesetion to answer...but you definetly have to say Brandon Roy out of Portland....even though he did not take his team to the playoffs...nor did they have a winning record, but he is playing at a level were he has become a "go to" guy and a "playmaker" and is successful at doing it... he can play 1-3 and can contribute in all the major stat categories... but im not sure if he has a triple-double this year....

other considerations: Randy Foye, Andrea Bargnani... the 2006 draft class wasn't impressive at all and didn't have much to offer...but watch out for this next 2007 NBA draft.. really deep and lots of talen.... OHHH BABY!!!

id have 2 say brandon roy. with rudy gay and morrison behind him. roy made an immediate impact with portland and has the ability to light it up during the game and can pass. morrison was supposed 2 make an impact but he is still didnt learn how 2 shoot yet. gay hes done decent but nuthing that great.

Looks like Brandon Roy will win it, but it would be cool if LaMarcus Aldridge won.

roy certainly deserves it, but contrary to what people say and their arguments, im going with a difference approach and im taking andrea bargnani. roy has missed some playing time due to injury and bragnani hasnt been playing everygame either, but toronto is the playoffs and winning their division, portland is not. bargnani certainly has found his groove and is doing well thus far.
