I personally think that he should go pro. He is a man among boys. I have been watching some of his games, and feel that he has done all that he could possibly do on the college level(minus a championship). After watching Durant in the Texas-USC game, I felt that Rick Barnes should be ashamed of himself. He arguably has the best player in the country, and he couldn't help the Longhorns reach the Final Four much less the Sweet Sixteen. Time would be wasted at UT-A because if you argue education, that's wrong because he is only taking one class to play on the team anyways. I personally would take the 30-40 million+ dollar deal with Nike, and the guaranteed $15 million from the rookie contract than return to a college. What do you all think?

Kevin should definitely stay another year @ UT. Here's why: He's going to be a dominant force in College BBall again next year, the team will be that much better with him, and with the upcoming recruitment class, that'll give him more incentive to stay and play and tutor some really good talent. Maturation process will really take flight and he'll definitely have a shot at making it to the Final Four and maybe even a National Championship game next season. If the team wins it all, his stock will go through the roof and there's no telling how much money will be thrown at him!!!!! And he'll only be 20 yrs old or so in next years draft. Youthful essence combined with outstanding game equals huge $$$$$$ signs, we all know this. Besides, when you do stay, College has a funny way of making you a smarter player. Again equalling even bigger $$$$$$ signs!!!!! Peace!

if you regard it from a financial point of view , he would be very
foolish to stay another year. he would have all to lose and nothing to gain. he could injure himself and never get a pro contract. if he stayed and played well, the chances of his contract being significantly higher are slim. he will get the endorsements if he is a good guy and a very good signing contract. his future, if he is responsible, will be taken care of.
he can always come back for the education. he will be able to afford it. if you disregard finances, then that throws the field wide open to speculation of returning and going to the final four. etc.

He should go pro since Texas will never beat KU, even when he drops 37. So give up Kevin and take the $$$$$$$$$$.

He looks like the real thing, but another year in college will not hurt him.
